I dont know Darcy myself but to run a pup on 1 Rabbit seems to be the right way, surely were just trying to keep them keen when young?? a green Rabbit here and there sounds just the ticket IMHO. YIS D
  2. no now your just twisting my words.............obviously he had a certain amount of skill....but he will not be remembered for his skillful touch as a quality he will be remembered for his great engine, will to win and general footballing brain........similar i suppose to Bryan Robson before him....great player but certainly wont be remembered for his finnesse and silky skills........i stand by what i said, when it comes to tackling as a skill never has there been better in the English game than Bobby Moore. http://www.youtube.c...h?v=y6ZP8zdhCOc Who did he play for Gnash? only kiddin
  3. Glad were not gonnas fall out mate, that would be silly, the point i tryed to make about Scholes is that he couldnt do it, not through being a coward or because he lacked toghness. he simply didnt have the skill in that department, we'll disagree now mate but as a football fan you have left me bemused as to how another footy fan can say Keano lacked in skill. Maybe Sir Alex should be looking for a big hard fearless thug from the stands to replace Keano, after all he would need no skill??? YIS Dougie
  4. Without a doubt he would probably walk into near any team in world football......but not for his skills,he had many great qualities but skills with a ball at his feet were not one of them...........and the topic is about skill after all said and done Ok so he was no Ronaldiniho with the ball, but if you watch the clip Gnash thats not what i was highlighting. Take a player like Scholes IMO one of Englands finest, he couldnt tackle for toffee, ask him to thread a ball through the eye of a needle and he would do it all day. Keano wouldnt have just walked into most clubs in the world to m
  5. Heres one i made, took some time to bend the bowed plywood but a good finish. YIS D
  6. Nice dogs them Ray, i think the fact they openly flouted the laws in the name of there heritage is commendable. We bow down to pathetic laws far to easy in this country, without fuss. Mind ye they gotta pay the price for being Martyr's YIS D
  7. you try getting a 34 inch piece of ash broken off your two knees and then come back and say that Id wanna be wearing body armour before getting out there mate
  8. On a discussion about " skill " ...I think Roy Keane would be the first to admit he fell short in the skills department......still some player though It takes some skill to spend a lifetime coming out of those tackles Gnasher, a skill still missing at O/T today. A true leader IMO, i would swap a young Keano over any midfeilder in this country. Skillless??? sorry mate but cant cop for that.
  9. Moo Sheperd had great results with hers. http://youtu.be/nudqyOpJjLs ATB D
  10. Great thread this  I remember my buddy getting smashed in the face by a bolting Rabbit, and another mate throwing up after he done his Baw bag on the leccy fence. All the mistakes in the feild make that perfect run all the better ey lads. YIS D
  11. i understand the concern when ti comes to the s/c with regards to over use by people who think they are a wonder gadget to break the heart and spirit of their dog to get it to behave but these surcumstances seem ok because it was used as a boundry device. I agree, its the same old senario the fools end up ruining it for the dedicated people who really do understand the concept of correcting a dog. I think there a cracking tool, in the right hands and in this case it seems it was being used to possibly save the life of the dog and to stop it causing a serious accident. Does th
  12. Well done THL making a stance against the dog abusers, :notworthy: YIS D
  13. Ive seen many a good dog ruined by the incorrect use of the S/C , i support the ban myself. Its a shame its come to this but untrained people should be kept as far away as possible from these gadgets IMHO. YIS D

  18. Let this be a warning to all the folk who think they can rehome there dogs!!! These are the c**ts answering your adverts!!! Hence i'de rather cull than rehome!!! If the free ads wer'nt so full it would deter the easy come easy go mentality , but still these c**ts dont deserve to be called human let alone Hunters. (Rant over) D

I'de rather cull a dog than let it leave my home, theres some horrible MOFO'S out there. YIS D
  20. Im hearing some very good results are being seen with the rejuvenated Alaunte, IMHO dog men may have there hands on somthing special with this renewed breed, very exciting. Theres certainly a place in the working feild for them today and with the right people doing the right thing by them they should go from strenth to strenth. Peace D
  21. Mackem thats a great link dude  Looks like my winter project sorted ATB D
  22. As an ex Bee keeper of 8 hives, i think there should be some kind of inspections for keepers. Far to many idiots out there with no understanding of Bees, keeping them piss poor and dangerously, these f**k wits need policing as they will f**k it up for the genuine lads who have taken the timer to learn the art. Theres also a huge ammount of people selling Bees to any Tom Dick or Harry. This is what happened to the Pitbull Terrier and look what happened there. Ive signed as i feel a dogs life was wasted in this instance and as horrific as that is it could quite as easy been a toddler
  23. Your card is a first impression, i wouldnt bother with cheap ones TBH a good quality card looks much better and a logo could help you get recognised easier also YIS D.
