  2. Stiffmeister says, I wanna jump Sarge, but i'll think i'll just wait

  3. Fancy a ginger beer giving lip, if your not infantry your not sh#t and as for Stabs and his sh#tty green beret, its maroon, all the way!

  4. Ah yes, all true, paticularly most of your sister-in-laws, or is that most of 1 sister-in-law.

  5. My opinion here will differ quiet a lot from from what people in the UK will suggest, however a good 6x scope mounted on a lightweight rifle in .243( I see this is what you have put in for)shooting a pointed soft point projectile preferrably at the heavier end of the scale for .243 will do the job just nicely. As for head or chest shot, that is up to you, both will kill, the head shot though is definitely no nonsense, but can be harder to achieve. Obviously a head shot does not require the pointed soft point. As for the 100 grain being needed, no, it is not, a 55 grainer out of a centr
  6. Just about any centrefire calibre has the potential to do a lot of meat damage, the projectile and shot placement is what determines how much meat you will be feeding to your dogs. Don't let anyone tell you that the .308 isn't flat shooting, at 300 it is not that much different the .270, which is renowned for being a flat shooter. As I said before though, the .30 cal kills better. Europeans don't seem to like the .270 as they say it kicks too much, this is rubbish. Yeah the .308 is a little milder but there is not a whole lot of difference here either. With the shorter action of the .308 thou
  7. Until recently I had used a .270 as my main deer hunting rifle, however the opportunity came up not long back to purchase a Rem Mohawk in .308, I can catergorically say that the .308, despite nearly identical ballistics on paper kills deer better.
  8. Is he a wild free range stag? Not being clever, but in all honesty the 5 10" bloke only coming up to his rump, would like to see that, we breed bos indicus cattle and at 1200 kg, they are lucky to be that tall.
  9. Quickthorn I thought you said you bought a Pro saw, not a women's hedge pruner, bleedin hell man. Nah just joking, bit of an Aussie joke, what size is the Husky? Excuse my ignorance but we do not use any hedges in Aust. The trees that are horizontal, are they still alive and weaved in amongst posts? Looks to be a good lot of work anyway. Pic of my old dog, Stihl 066 and Ironbark fence posts in great Red country.
  10. Awesome write up, really pleased for you to have achieved your dream. Sounds like it was a demanding hunt in demanding country, you pushed the boundaries and came up trumps. The second pic is sensational, would you mind if I passed it on to some mates? Write some more if you have the time and perhaps a pic of your Sika?
  11. Putting something back in, great too see, what species of deer are there Quickthorn?
  12. It seems my post has upset the wired one, sending pm's know qoute wireviz 'Thats a hard mans post jager bet you wish you were over here and could do it your self (tosser ) ' Why would I want to sunshine, seems there would be a lineup a mile long, by the time my turn came round there'd only be a pile of tweeds left. you wanna throw shit at people on a forum, expect a little back, know go back to spotlightling a few rats. I will reiterate for your dumbarse brain, your a f#ckwit.
  13. mubz2cool, cheers for your pics, always interesting checking photos out, keep putting them up. and wireviz... your a f#ckwit, and scotrat, take him up on his offer, get out in the paddock where there are no witnesses and punch 10 shades of piss out of the wanker and then steal his tweads.
  14. Stabs you would eat anything, its safe mate, the dogs won't even eat it, was a good morning, thanks for coming up.
  15. Exactly and as I said, perhaps your mindset needs changing as the way I am reading it the game management principles that maybe operating over there seem very outdated. I will say it again for the bambi lovers, we are hunters, what type of meat do you buy from the butcher, a steak from an old bull or a steak from a nice young animal, ah shit, your a jock, so any bits would do. How can anyone comment on what the bloke should/could or would have done, where you all there, Deker went out to a paddock he is managing and the rest of you have no idea what the management principles are that a
  16. For F#cks sake, I havn't posted on this site for a long, long time, I barely even look at it anymore because the place is full of armchair bloody experts criticising the blokes that get out there and do a bit, some of ya's need to mix in a bit of cement with the cups of tea and harden up. Why you lot are knocking the bloke has got me absolutely stuffed. There are a few experienced hands that have replied, but maybe, just maybe they need to review their management ideals, as for the others you have absolutely know idea. Tell me why culling a young, deliscous animal is wrong, the above q
  17. I bet that big, hairy looking prick can dig holes.
  18. Yes my brother, concrats, can I post a pic?
  19. I don't think you can go past BJJ mate for your ground game, boxing is the way to go too, you watch any kickboxer in against a boxer when they are toe to toe using their hands, the boxer will make him look silly. Never been real good with leg locks, love chokes though so I always used to use them, never really liked them used on me though. All the best with it and hurry up and hit the big time so I can show off the T-shirt Stab's shouted me.

GSP was awesome I thought, think we'll see big things from Roger and well Lesner, a good ground fighter is going to choke the living shit out of him, I'm with you Gnasher he looked bewildered at times, didn't seem to have any finishes on the ground.
  21. Great write up Kye, glad your enjoying it all, what style of grappling do you train in?
  22. Tone you need to fire at least 3 shots to consider it a group, 2 shots can be misleading.
  23. Collie/Grey, Frontline is probably the best stuff to use although probably a risk with Collies, try flea bombing all the areas in and around your house, wash the dogs with ordinary dishwashing liquid, this kills fleas instantly and feed dry food and raw meat with high doses of garlic, you will need to keep on top of it for awhile and you should notice a marked improvement.
  24. DON'T use it collie/grey, end off. If given in the correct dose it works on parasites but continual use builds up high toxic levels in the dog, DON'T USE IT.
