True story,I was in Cairo for a month kicking about,despite the camera-shots in holiday brochures showing the pyramids of Ghiza and the sphinx with a dramatic desert backdrop turn the camera around and they are within walking distance of a particularly crappy part of Cairo,the pyramids and surrounding area provide an income(or rather they did last time I was there 1996)for a large number of Cairene's(inhabitant of cairo)all offering services for the tourists who throng to the Pyramids.
