    To me,.a 'Grew' has always been a Non-Pedigree,.Hard Blood racing whippet... A specialist speedster, bred from the 'best to the best' by canny men,..over a 50/60 year period,...and rather more than a mere Greyhound put to a Whippet.... Well you learn something new everyday ,Ive allways assumed it was just a straight first cross that people would steal a bit from each name like they do . Cheers for that .

    I will feed cat food in the summer . But can not say ive come across this sort of thing . Id go to the vets mate let it get looked at , better safe than sorry .

    Nothing is gaurantted with animals mate , Poor entering can ruin even the best breed animal .

    I couldnt give you a scientific reason but could tell you plenty of times were only the best (for the required job ) is used , One for a start race horse's you dont see a old nag on the farm breed with a derby winning horse because like anything selectively breed you are playing a numbers game by using animals up to the task in hand , and there fore you hope to up your odds of producing animals up to the grade wanted . If it was easy as you say no one would go to the trouble of breeding the best to a best because i could get any two old greyhounds and produce derby winners .

    Ive had some long nets of the magnum trap company , was a nightmare getting hold of the fella but they are a quality product . Did me well this harvest time .

    chop up finely , mix with vinegar and a tea spoon of sugar and you have mint sauce . add it to your spuds when you cook them .

    Maybe thats true to a degree , but myself i would rather have a dog from workers not a breeding machine as the chances for faliure are much smaller .

    25kg is bollox mate i am afraid . there is no set weight according to law . the maximum weight is one the individual is comfortable with . ie a strong man may be able to lift 40kg comfortably but a weaker man may only be able to lift 15kg comfortably . so it is down to the individual . if in doubt contact your local hse office .

    dropped rabbits ( ferreted or such ) , dont worry about yapping when they run . yapping on game is a different kettle of fish .

    if you mean how to start ferrets working , well myself not to young at least 6 months on small warrens and dont ask to much to soon , they deserve/need a few trips out to get going . like all things in life some will work better than others .

    duramitex is better and most importantly cheaper than frontline . get some make it up ( i use a cap full to a pint of water ) and apply with a spray gun rub in (wear rubber gloves ) kills fleas and ticks pretty dam quick . good for keeping hutchs clean as well ( works on dogs to ) .

    Direct preferably violent action is the only tool we had that could have held of a ban , It is the only language any government in the world understand . basc ca ect ect are only there to line there pockets . The law is here for ever it will never change . federations and alliances failed us before and they will fail us in the future . Stick with your own and trust no one thats the only way to survive now not pay someones wine bill and hotel .

    Dont forget you need a licence , If you get caught trapping crayfish with out one the ea will prosecute you .

    2 rabbits mean nothing , you still need concrete evidence in this country to get a conviction , you did the right thing keeping mute . get on the fella out of edrd he will put you right on the defence front . works on legal aid as well .

    hesian sacks or some material sawn on does the job just as well as netting .

    Get enough for the ammount of work you are doing , If you are out every day its unfair to expect them to be able to work day in day out . I only really ferret at the weekend so 3 does me . When i have time of and go say 4 days a week i will either take mine and alternate there use with my friends or use them every other day .
