I own bull cross's and I have had four species with them day/night , One struggles more than the other but thats down to breeding . One thing is for sure if all i wanted to do were deer i wouldnt get one . They are a good all round animal though depending on the size of breed some of the bigger lumps will struggle but thats not why you have them is it .

Only time they wont get feed everyday is in the colder months if i put a big lump of meat in with them like half a deer or big howl cockeral theyve enbough food to keep them going then . i wouldnt miss a days grub with them they arnt set up like dogs who do well missing a day imho .

Theres a site with loads of people on willing to help out others with ferreting , can not for the live of me think of it . I am sure someone will post it up for you .
