    I have a collie greyhound x saluki greyhound wippet excelled all my expectations already does everything i wanted in a dog her 15 months old.

    i think it needs to be changed to much gun dog sh*t and not enough lurches and terrier articles . I still buy it in hope it changes

    i remember the first time i went with my dad 20 years ago when i was 5 up on the mountain were my dad sat me on a wall well he dug to one of his terriers we had a kennel with good knows how many dogs from lakelands to lurchers . Didnt have my own dog beleive it or not till i got married i had a little tri colour jr which was a excellent dog but did not get on with the wife so she went. Then a lakeland same problem again and now ive switched to lurchers which i have two a 15 month old collie x and a bull x pup i just bought off terrier boy . And cant get enough of it ill go out twice a week wit

    keep trying all though i would still use a stuffed skin as toys could signal to the dog that you just playing. Ruff the dog up with the dummy and whilst holding him throw it wait for him to pull you then release him and encourage him when he is returning i find kneeling down with your arms out gives him less room to go past you then leave him keep hold of it whilst you praise him then keep repeating it.     i have used both rope and slip with mech . I find the rope quicker and easier . Others say that there dogs pull set of mech if thats the case why not take the small string off the clip that releases the mech as i have done then all you need do is to release it with your finger only down side is potching with the dam thing in the dark

    only advice i could give u is going back to basics with a stuffed rabbit skin as i have taught mine this way and within a week he would retreive from any distance . I had my lurcher from 12 months old and had no experience now 14 months old and will catch rabbits at distance and retreive live back to hand every time without any commands

    its all part of the sport we all love. So an all rounder it is for me. 10 rabbits is plenty for any night people that want more are just making the next time they go less of an enjoyment. I only have one of my dogs running at the moment and had done nothing for 12 month with the boy who sold him to me 2 months later and i enjoy watching him take even 5 in a night

    I had two terriers before i started lamping with lurchers one white lakeland and a jr bitch. Both fiery but did both jobs well. Its how much time you put in to the dogs both dogs were obedient and could be called back from below ground. People who just lock terriers in there runs and dont socialise with them have the problem of there dog going to ground and staying there all day till you dig 2 foot or 8 foot .people might disagree but thats their opinion

    i have a webley xcocet with bsa sweet 22 sights which are not even a week old. Gun has some scratches on it. Other than that a brand new ox accelerator spring and has been a good gun for me looking for £ 200 . The sights alone cost £ 100 and are very accurate.

    My mate has a saluki greyhound 3 year old took time to do the job but when he did you couldnt stop him one might we jumped a gate next thing we new he was half way down the field turned the lamp on and he was up a big dog foxes arse and fought like f**k it did .
