    Looked into becoming a game dealer, have the relevent forms ... not processed yet but ... i can get £1.50 / lb young with head and hide got to be neck shot thats from a local butcher. Last season he was charging £17.99 / kg for sika and red

    As far as i know there is a "switching " option i.e. from metric to yds and a ballistic feature ( got to key in a code which equates to the calibre your using) gives the hold over distance...... just another thing to faff about with lol Had a look through the zeiss at a game fair last year very good, but the wife does not see it that way... needless to say there on hold

    Had a chat with leica the other day and they are releasing the "HD" version for the geovid's they say better colour perception, low light use improved but it all comes at a price increase.... i asked but got no answer so its a wait out ...

    Ive been faffing at making skicks for about a year now, some good some not so ... but i coat mine with tru oil ... or sanding sealer, great finish and waterproof. I have a few 6ft blackthorn staffs still seasoning, marked more shafts for next year ... johnnie

    HI folks just sitting here after getting drenched, and got to wondering how the stalking season was going up here in the north, i can imagine its going well down south, but just drop us a line . Ive been our a few times and had 5 sika hinds so far, now looking for a stag or 2 ? id love to have a red or 2 ... Anyhow if you fancy repling great stuff johnnie

    Martin , Just a to say excellent work ive "processed" a few deer now and having followed your pics etc i have found that ive employed a mix and match method, butthatks to your hard work i will be following your method ...stright forward, well explained and more importently it works.     Im about 6 miles from skea close to maguiresbridge, sika around lisniskea ... got a some around here heard of red in teh garrison area but they are a bit to big to handle on my own.... got to get permission first heard fallow . hope you dont mind me asking .... do you have any ground you shoot on .... well i havnt got a rifle yet but ive been out with my dad and his shotgun just walking roun some land which a friend of the family has rights to and seen a few deer. i was just wondering if there were any stalking courses in the fermanagh area?     lol well old just turned 50 been shooting and doing a little fishing almost all my life that does not say im any good at it but if i shoot at anything it does not normally get up and run away lol

    got 4 areas that i can shoot over... in and around the county. Im trying to get some ground in either donagal or wicklow but no joy at the moment. Any joy with the farmer .... if you shot something what would you do with the meat...ever eaten any venison ?
