  5. I sent BPR a couple of well read ferreting books a week or so ago. The Postman delivered a catapult this morning, good workmanship and fits the hand perfectly. Many thanks to BPR, Cheers Dave
  6. Try Gamehawker Ltd http://www.dogtran.co.uk/ferret_boxes_cat-106, they do plastic ferret boxes

  8. It looks like mi Grandad's hearing aid box, kept it in his top pocket. Is their a socket for the ear piece ? It will be good for something, not sure what though ? Good luck with it Dave
  9. Had it to the vets, turned out to be a blocked gland, drained the lump of saliva, Vet advised how to drain it if it does the same thing again. Glad I brought it back home, was'nt looking forward to an empty carrying box. Thanks for the advice Dave
  10. Thanks the replies, she is a good worker, I only have two, so she is half of the team ! just booked her in with the vet, it does feel quite solid, not like am abscess, so will have to see what the vet reckons. Could'nt see any bits of bone or anything similar. Thanks Dave
  11. Just noticed a large lump under the tongue on one of my ferts, not sure how to tell if it is an abscess or something mre serious like a tumour, is there any easy way of telling, I will get it to the vets in the morning as it looks like it may start causing problems for it. Thanks Dave
  12. What time does it start Dave, may be able to pop up for a look Cheers
  13. I screwed a plastic tub to a piece of wood that is wedged into the corner with a brick, after a couple of days of putting the scats into the tub, they started to use it like a litter tray, makes cleaning out much easier. Had to wedge it in, otherwise one of the buggers kept turning it upside down Cheers Dave
  14. Byrney, first rule of longnetting is to sort out your nets the night before, untangle them and put them in those two nice sacks to keep them straight for you. Dont stand in a windy/rainy paddock with that dopey mate of yours trying to un-knot 50 yds of nylon Hope the above helps Dave !!! PS where are we going Sunday
  15. He knicked it off me, one minute he is supping tea in my kitchen, next minute he has it stuffed up his jumper (which improved byrneys looks no end !!!) It was a couple of quid from a local pet shop, but the ferts would not leave it alone and kept tipping it up The Mk11 version is a square ice cream tub, screwed to a piece of wood, with a housebrick to keep it in place Dave
  16. I recognise that litter tray, I used to have one just like that, same colour ?
  17. Byrney What happened to the Mk 111 you promised yourself, the wife said she had been stroking your puppy today, she said it was small and spindly, so I knew it was the dog !!!!!!! Cheers Dave
