    In mho, lucas hare is stronger. Had everything under control and knew exactly where it was going to feck the dog over . Had that hare been on the slop where Kim was running, it woulda been ripping even more yards of daylight. Lucas doesn't actually bend/pressure that hare once it's so strong . However, there's absolutely nothing anyone can criticise Kim on . A true warrior with plenty gears and grit . Top top animal and a joy to watch . Now there will be lads with fast lamping and rabbiting dogs thinking, she couldn't miss . That hare and ground would do these types of dogs big end . But

    Thing is trig , slower types run average hares longer than clever aggressive types . And the slower types owners believe they come across real un regularly. But there are that 3 maybe 4 runs a season that you come across a hare that's absolutely bionic. That's where your 4/5/6 minutes comes from . And if a fast dog doesn't have decent steam , then the springs are going to pop . Lads with aggressive fast runners want to stick to 3 runs . The plodders owners tend to want to move the goal posts to 5 . Horses for courses

    I totally get what your saying fens. I'm other way round . Watching a fast aggressive dog that knows a real hare from a decent one . Adapting yet still forcing mistakes . That for me gets the juice flowing. Each to their own buddy

    In Scotland you need a mouth and gears . But need to hang in there if needed . How many dogs have you seen that made most runs into wars . Good dogs put average hares away fast , put good hares away in minutes. Very very few real uns out there that go over 4 minutes . Jmo . I'm no fen expert in fairness
