  1. My position up in the tree, perfect for rabbits down the hedge and the odd pigeon, that comes to rest. Got this guy straight through the head!
  2. just a few pics, to tired to tell the story so enjoy! this guy ducked his head to late!
  3. cheers for the offer quasar, he will eventually live with my 2 jills, but not sure if he's got worms (either wiping his ass on the floor or his bits[possibly senting?]) so gonna worm him first the about a weeks time he can go in with them.
  4. had him out this morning, he's had a good feed. and he's fine, had a sniff but not tried to bite yet. gonna bath him today as he is a bit more yellow than he should be. be nice for him to cool off anyway. yep and with the new finder i'm getting off sue, it won't be as bad if he kills either! things are looking up! thanks for all the replies folks Corky
  5. whats up with the big one's head kay?
  6. yeah, similar to my two jills, bit darker though. He could be the lucky fella i use to mate with one of the two jills.
  7. hope so, i'm pretty sure he will. reasonably confident.
  8. hi all, got the blighter! lol. he seems a bit better now, could have been the trip in the car that upset him. he is by himself at the mo because i want to check him for flea's! he wasn't in the best home and looked like he was on cat or dog food. will keep you all updated. letting him settle in tonight and will get him out on the morro! thanks for all the replies Corky
  9. yep, i've decided am gonna have him i think.
  10. looks good richie! keep us dated on if it works! all the best Corky
  11. Hi all, today at work a bloke brought in a ferret he had found on a building site(near some fields[probably left behind when worked]) trying to flog it to us, "he's dead friendly" anyway, me being a ferreter, the boss calls me down to have a look and i hold this little bugger (big hob actually) and it proceeded to rip my nuckles to shreds! now what i want to know is if i decide to have him(the pet shop ain't interested) and am firm with him, handle him regular regardless of biting and when he does bite, tell him not to(ie scruff him) will he become tame again and capable of working withou
  12. Buster321c, are you being serious....?!?!?!?! and oi, jazz, lol, i'll have you know am 16! so there! lol, trust me i keep thinking if only i had put £100 or even £110 it would still have been worth it.....
  13. hi all, just sat and found a deben mark 3 16 foot finder on ebay for £90, used twice. and god damn it someone beat me. they put £97 at the last second when i had put £95 seconds before! i hate ebay, it never goes your way..... p.s if somebody on here now says, oh i just won that, i might actually scream! lol
  14. well mate, i've nevr done it but i would charge per hour, because if your with a 50 holer and your waiting an hour before you realise, there was only one rabbit in there, then it would still be worth your while!
  15. i use a hot pair of tweasers. hold gently but firmly onto the tick and pull very gently, it burns the tick which makes it let go with its teeth and you pull it off kicking and sceaming. only use this if your ferrets are steady, so you don't burnm them with the tweasers.
  16. get them b*****ds good, bigbulls! and when you do tell us so we can laugh really hard at them! if you do video them, post that aswell. hope everything goes the way you want it to mate. best of luck Corky
  17. no mate, their not. wouldn't eat ferral pigheon if i was you, nothing on them and their full of crap and disease
  18. yeah, i know... i do only use the light pellets for that matter and the f/lb has now come down to 11.89 due to leaving it cocked for 45 minutes
  19. "training isi'nt really neccessary, make sure you buy kitts from working stock" to be honest stubbs, my two were from melton mowbray and wern't working stock and their great. do you think it makes the difference? i'm not argueing because i've not had working stock so can't compare. have you found a difference?! thanks corky
  20. i will tell you sometging i only learnt of recently. you don't want to feed to much pigeon and i wouldn't feed it to kits as it is so high in iron. for kits, it could be bad but i know you definately shouldn't feed your ferrets on it day in day out, every now and then is ok though.
  21. jesus mate, 1 1/2 months?! you got alot of mice near you for it or somat?!
  22. ticks have been my jills worst and even tho's were off on the same day. never really had scrathches or any other injuries!
  23. The thing is i would like a litter out of them(already have a buyer[the pet shop i work at]) and then i might think about getting them done permanently depending on the price. but planning on an extention tommorrow anyway, just because i can now that the rabbit hutch has been moved.
