  1. only after finishing reading this book its the best lurcher moucher book i've read and the chapter on Mercedes is my favourite if you have'nt read ths book your missin out cant say enough good words about this book. as for the answer to the question a free thinker all the way as my little cur has proved to me in the past nine times out of ten the dog knows best. Me and the brother work whippet collie greyhounds good rabbiting dogs would be interested in seeing the crosses you've mentioned have been thinking of the same cross myself, have heard the austrailian cattle dog is more favoured than the kelpie what do you's recon? any one any experience with the austrailian cattle dog cross 1/2 cross 3/4 cross or 5/8 bred?

The cpmpetition would'nt be on the scale of the lads across the water, but sure hey it would be good craic get to meet like minded people see other peoples dogs of different crosses work, get a few cheap trophys organise a bit of a shin dig at the end of it all. sure what more could ya ask for thats what its all about. Hi all i've been trying to put togeather a living of the land calender what i mean by this is putting everything in order as it comes fish, fur,feather nuts and berries beers and wines i.e what time of year do you go mackeral fishing when do you pick elder berries for wine? i hope i've worded this ok and hope yous can help.   14. is there a certain knot to tie when tying the bagging to the running lines i've tried electical tap and tying basic nut but the just keep sliding, do you stitch the two togeather? Any replies will be recieved with many thanks. Yours in sport fathom

    i've been into longnetting now for the last couple of years and i'm hooked, still a novice but i'm always learning and thats the main thing. i prefare using the traditional set up as i feel its more of a personnal touch. in my eyes it hold's the mystery of the long net to the eyes of those who dont know how. i use the basket system for ferreting a good job it is to and will admit that the fixed pole method deminstrated in glenn waters vid a legend he is to is a lot quicker to use but i sill prefare the traditional method for the very reason that on a blowy night running your twine along the

  23. thanks very much lads they're the very traps im on about. if they.re still legal why did they stop making them? which is the better of the two traps? is there any traps available today that resemble them and are set in the same manner? are they hard to come by and if i did come by them what sort of money could i expect to pay for them? how do yous rate these traps to modern traps?
