Its not the fact of them taking a few bites fella, Iv seen ferrets come out blinded by faceing rat, And im on about seasoned ferrets here ones that have been kicked of a few rabbits no doubt, The reason why i dont put my little ferrets down too rats is like iv said i dont want them come out blind just cause iv put them down too a few rats where i think a smoker can do the same job without get marked/hurt, Iv had ferrets thats worked rabbits year in year out acounted for thousand of rabbit over the years and i know that i can take the same ferret out again in the morning cause i kn

Like been said iv seen some ferrets get some real nasty bites from rats, Thats why i dont use mine on them i dont see the need to when the smoker is a very efficient tool when ratting, That why i dont drop my ferrets in i dont see the point in MY ferrets taking unneed punishment when the smoker shifts them just fine, But each to there own..
