    It seems a shame he hasn't He was fairly active on here . Now he isn't because of 70 quid not worth it really . I agree he should be given a chance.

    Thanks that's the first stock I've done and I'm very happy with it. I want to do another now think I've found a new hobby.

    I've finished oiling the stock the metal work bluing is done and it's nearly finished. should be good when I'm done

    I've managed to get a piston. I was going to get it blued because I new it needed that. so far it's cost me 45 for the barrel and 20 for the piston so it's not too bad.

    Just a quick update this is the piston do you think it's repairable the split doesn't look to go all the way through

    He did get back to me but that was just to sell me another rifle flynndog 540 Replied: Friday at 19:44 I wasn't sure one min it looked slightly off then shot ok if your after a gun for the lad I've got a hw57 come for the p15 in of its the new model with a decent looking scope on i took it as 100 with scope I'll sort something out

    Thanks for the kind offer but the lad who is doing the bluing has got one it's cost me 45 pounds. If anyone wants a barrel for a 35 that will shoot around corners pm me.

    Well this isn't a good way for me to start on the forum it's only my second thread. I think I will put it down to a bad experience.

    Thanks for getting back to me if you would have said it was bent in the pm's I would not have bought it. Not knowng it was bent I sent it to be re-blued so now I'm 45 pounds down for another barrel

    Iv'e just contacted the person who is doing the bluing for me and he says it is bent . But he is one of the good ones and has found me one .

    I miss my ferrets so Iv'e decided to start again .Its been about 10 years since I gave it up so i'm having to start from scratch I have a good little hut that i'm going to convert into a home for them . I will have to brush up on my knowledge of keeping them think i fed them on james welbeloved dry food last time . anyhow lots of research and questions for you all to come.

    I know 70 pounds isn't a lot of money but It's the dishonesty of not letting me know . I have tried to message him but no response yet and he was logged in at 3 am this morning so he will have seen my message.

    Thanks for that I'm not giving up on the old barrel when i get it back I can check it with a scope on . Flynndog said he had sorted the trigger but spring was missing so he might be wrong about the barrel as well.

    Bigmac did you see the rifle I'm hoping it's not bent. Before i sent it off I put a new seal in and the power was up to just over 9 I fired at my garden range and hit the cans so I'm hoping it's ok

    flynndog 540 Replied: January 21 90 quid it'll break for more than that in parts export barrel sought after I'm going to take in the morning about 10:30 could sort it then I paid 70 pounds in the end but their was never any mention of a bent barrel . I got it to restore for my lad as his first rifle . The worst thing is all the metalwork has been rubbed down and sent off for re-bluing .
