What about these lads that run the rocks letting there runners hunt up running the rocks often running miles to get on something then putting a terrier to ground in places that most wouldn't it takes a special kind of mutt to do what they do and a handler who has every confidence in his dogs and every credit to them because if they didn't they wouldn't get a run you can tell dogs that know how to run and those that have been held back bangers you can look at any field and see danger if the opportunity arises take it wether that's a slip or a dig because the chance won't come again you have to

When you starting your runner bangers surely you would understand what I meant by risk and who's this family of yours I'm sure are paths would of crossed if they were that active and that's done so much and surely they would of educated you better by the sound of things the only injury your runner is going to get is by you running over it's foot on your chopper push bike

That's shows me someone who is willing to run there dog and run the risk of a injury and is prepared for such you say he should start end of Dec why the season has already started a few months before when you starting with the runner bangers and don't you think there is gear about that has been run or dug last season You seem happy about the fact MC had a few knock backs I don't know why and your quote box standard lurchers what do you mean box standard

I agree social media has created problems no doubt but coursing dogs face hazards every run like lamp dogs do like dykes how many good dogs have died or retired through them same as anything you run the gauntlet when you slip I know how it feels to lose a dog in the field like most but that's the risk we take every time we slip money cant always buy you a good dog if you have put serious hours in to a dog that's proven it's self you ain't selling it

Bangers every slip day or night any where anytime in the season the dogs runs a risk of getting injured some ground offers alot more risk but greater reward to both dog and handler hence you take a gamble if dogs gets banged up it's part and parcel of the job it happens bit like letting young pups run lose learning about obstacles and hazards not left on a lead till 18 months old you may get a knock or a tear it happens no one does it intentionally
