    I think it's great lads like you put a few quid in and get involved in leagues like this for the benefit of the club and community rather than as you say cashing in on the land it's surprising how much talent is in those leagues and the passion just to play football fair play to you for investing in grass roots I wish your team every success

    I have seen a few look foolish while smirking in the van on what another lad is running just of what the're dog looks like then that dog turns out it knows how to run and put gear away and is a good dog or cnuts that set out to make a dog fail on purpose and the dog comes up good I enjoy that because it's a cnuts trick to make a dog fail

    Not sure what level your team is but most seem passionate about football genuine football lads are in the lower leagues but I had a conversation with a lad that played to a good level he said junior league's there's plenty of players and teams but adult teams are far less now since so many pubs and leagues have shut but I do like the full hearted tackles without the rolling round that lower league brings
