That's what I mean Ben how many good dogs that when bred tight or to good bitches produced decent of spring but When put out on open stud for coin to anything with no thought it can damage that dogs rep as a stud because the first thing any one will mention is the studs name the biggest problem with some is honestly and coin and little thought in what such a lining could produce

Ben I don't mean to sound pedantic but a dog could have a bad day or a very good day of ones days filming that's not saying is the bitch worthy of such a stud as we know it's a lottery breeding and were the excess pups going but a lot of lining are done out of sentiment rather than thinking about the field

I wasn't trying to bring the lad down or his thread but me personally if I had a dog at stud I would want to see the bitch run a few times likewise with a bitch a stud run as you say Ben it's a lottery but even then a bit of research and accepting what you have or need as to be taken in to consideration no good having a decent prospects or blood line if you haven't got the graft for them or the know how with that blood how they run or work

I agree I have bolted a few with the terriers out of earths over the years one out of old badger set was massive compared to your average cat something im sure could of been mistaken for a big cat at distance or half light and it was a tabby not black or foam coloured

When I look at non league clubs and I see the grounds I have been to when they was in the league it a crying shame but it does make you think your county's Halifax luton Tranmere Stockport etc surely more can be done to help such clubs when you think how much money a club can make even being relagated or how much a player is paid

The best dog I ever owned was a Sal whip grey wanst a fox dog but a dog that could take them but on edible was a half decent dog run any were on most ground on some land some wouldn't slip day or night just knew how to run would have him back in a heart beat
