I agree. J Darcy writes a good post highlighting the fact that hares find escape routes in drains pipes foxholes, and hedges.allof which is true.,a couple of pages ago you wrote."WHERE FIELDS ARE BIG ,LIKE ON THE FENS ,WITH NOWHERE FOR THE HARES TO ESCAPE",SO BY AGREEING WITH DARCYS POST ,WHICH IS ACCURATE,YOU CONTRADICT YOURSELF.DO YOU EVEN KNOW WHERE THE FENS ARE?iF YOU HAD ANY CREDIBILITY BEFORE ,YOU HAVENT ANY NOW! i have ran meny a hare pre ban and the only hares i have had eny experiance of that has went down eny kind of hole is the( blue hare ) i have seen brown hares jump

i always slow trot the dogs on a push bike to a bit of rough ground that we walk and bush together then after the dogs have had there fun it is time for a faster pace home for there grub , i supose i am lucky to stay up this neck of the woods and be able to step out the front door and be standing in the countryside ! rabbits play a big factor in getting my dogs fit and so does good food mostly a barf diet but i have adopted the diet to suit myself and my dogs .

that is a nice dog , is it a first or second cross ( bull grey) ? as for the strawbery growing out yer dogs face , it looks like a muscle to me but it is hard to tell from a pic .
-
if you read corectly hes a ridgeback greyhound gareth the dog has had everything and he can run all day aye you can see by the dog in the pics muscle tone that he has done a lot of running ! i think if i wanted a hound in my breeding i would cross the grey with a fox hound atleast these dawgs have a proven nose probably because the dog has been lame and have left him off for 4 months just to make sure he was ok might put him on a treadmill when you coming to see me hc so i can knock the f**k out of you after you tried to be the hard man pming me you are just an idiot and

is there eny need for a book like that ? PTS is the best way to go for retierd greyhounds , why should the general public have to look after these animals ? ok some make good pets but how much of the geneal public have masive gaffs to let a pure grey roam about in just to give it the magical life and happy ending it deserves ? not to mention if it is a hit or a miss if the dog in question shits and pisses all over your home for the first few months and takes the face off of enything that can run ! PTS is the most humain way for these dogs and more responsabilty should be put on the race own

i knew it wouldnt be long before the fancie words came out lol ! so with all the fancie words could you please explain to mr deputydog that there is difrent muscle groups ie L R in my languege ! and that for someone to just brake a leg and then start using a mill on there dog is not advised ! road work is what works for me and to tell the truth a mill is only of eny use to my bygone days of the bulls ! not so long ago i was layed up with a broken foot but i had crutches and still got my dogs out for a walk and a run about the feilds ! there is exersises to isolait all muscles and a tred mill
-
L AND R = left and right ! do you have a left and a right side ! duh only one full of shit here is you ! just look through your posts on this thred and work it out for yourself lol now dont go editing them cos if you do that you will look even more silly than you already have made youself look

unless you know what you are doing mate i wouldnt bother , a mill is good for stabina and building up wind but at the same time by working a running dog on a mill it will build muscle and you dont want to much muscle on a lurcher ! i will brake it down for you ! first of all you have to picture in your mind the stature of a dog running in a strait line ! if you ran in a strait line long enough to build up the only muscles you would use by doing this then all you would be doing is training your body to run in a strait line , when you wanted to turn left or right it would be taxing on certan mu

as you said a good few days of proper feeding will bring that dog up to scrach ! weight wise enyway ! but i would give that animal a good five weeks of good feeding to find its weight . i have seen top class working spaniels just as lean as that with all the work they do but come end of the seesion they are fat as pigs and enjoying there rest , by the look of the dog in the pic it is borderline ! BUT if that dog is in that condision and it is not working every hour of the day and night then i disagree with the stait of it , food is fule and with a working dog you have to fule it and a littil b
