Thanks for all the advice people I have received a few permissions over the last few days through local farms I followed everyone's advice and knocked and asked did get a few knock backs but perseverance payed off I now have more land to work than I know what to do with I'm off out tonight for a bit of lamping let you all know how I got on

  6. ??? Sounds like he's going to be a good dog then he doesn't listen and he's dug holes all over the garden both his parents are fox dogs so it is in his blood, the thing I'm worried about is him going to ground is it wise to carry a shovel? How long do you leave a dog down a hole before you dig

  8. Thanks mate I'll be looking into the insurance, there are tons of corn fields around holding hundreds of pidgeon it's just finding the land owner that I'm struggling with I think it's just a case of knocking and asking
  9. Hi people I have a patterdale terrior pup he's 14 weeks old and I'm wanting to train him to hunt rabbits at what age would u normally take your dog out? Do they naturally find their way or are there training methods to help, I'm not going to lie I'm a complete novice when it comes to dog hunting and want to make sure I do everything the correct way, any advice would be much appreciated
