  3. Thats what i thought with it coming up so fast. Do u know if it will go down or if ill need to get it drained?
  4. Has anyone had this with their ferrets before? This lump has literally appeared overnight on his neck. Doesn't seem to be affecting energy or appetite.
  5. Ahh nice one mate i hadnt noticed
  6. The country is full of little puddings wanting to make a name for themselves. Half the people my age want nothing but handouts and act hard done to instead of going out and grafting for it.
  7. Going back through my phone looking at pics of the pup from earlier this year. Found a few videos of her getting her first few rabbits. Got me looking forward to starting again in the next few weeks
  8. Does anybody have any permission for ferreting in the north east? I asked a few weeks ago on a different part of the forum. I wouldn't mind tagging along and travelling as my permissions depend on whether my mate is at work or not. Thought id try and make some new contacts near me. Cheers, Sam
  9. 10 weeks mate, ive never worked any from scratch though so double excited haha
  10. Well from a litter of 13, these are my final 3. Cant wait for them to get older to start taking them out. Thought I'd take a team photo but the big hob was asleep, the dog wouldn't look, the little ones clearly just wanted to chomp my finger and my lass said I was sad for wanting pics! Anyone started any kits yet?
  11. Had an hour this morning in the pallets at work. Got a few rats with the jack russell and the big hob seemed to enjoy the run out. A canny pre season friendly before we go back to rabbits in september
  12. Cooking on gas. Flung all the kits and the big hob in a run while i cleaned the cages. A couple of nibbled ears but apart from that all pals now
  13. Yes mate, had a litter of 13 and only 2 jills.
  14. I've got 8 kits free to a good home. All of the people who wanted some from my litter have backed out. 4 silver and 4 white hobs. The mother has been a cracking little worker this past year, can't say much for her line as she was given to my mate as a freebie. The father was the best worker I've ever had and I've had his line since his great grandfather. I'd love to keep em all but definitely far too many! 9 weeks old, eating anything I catch. Free to a good home. If anyone is interested give me a message. Im in the gateshead area. I'll upload pics tomorrow
  15. Just tested the water today after gutting the cages out. Put a couple of the kits with a bit of bitter apple on their necks in with the big hob. He never went to bite them but he was batting and scratching one of them. I bottled it and put the kits in their own cage again. I'll try again in a few weeks when they are bigger.
  16. Nice one mate, didnt know about the apple or any of that
  17. Ill get me best salesmans pitch on then haha cheers everyone
  18. Cheers mate, I thought as much. To be fair, an hour and a halfs drive to the borders is worth it for the view alone. I'll get to knocking doors
  19. Thanks mate, you have literally described how my dog is to a T. I love the naughtiness and character of a terrier, but I dont like bombing down the street in my slippers. Double catch on the gate it is haha
