[walking pace on your bike ,if theirs no where to let them off . about 2 mile will do them morn and night which takes no time at all ! but let them have a daft 5 or 10 mins to empty and calm down and warm up a little off the leed if you can .it works for me with three lurch and terrier on bike just build it up . i bought one of them things to record my milage :wacko: which you no if your doing enough or to much because some of us live on hills and some live on the flat so you got to work it out !mine are fit enough after 5 mile 4 times a week bike work flat ish roads . and each walk wich th

[thanks thats the first time some one has a greed with me their wasnt many books on dog work at my time of getting in to it which was 88 for me but manly ferret work and i use to use my mates dogs who you prob no . to me you come across scared of telling it how its done so you say what every one else has done and their great dogs , just saying no offence meant in any way and that goes to all my posts

i read some of his books when i was younger and i thought they were good but like i said earlier you got to go out and find it out for your self ! the biggest down fall for me i use to listen to the lads who caught 30 in a night round us ! which is a mean feet by any ones standards for rabbits i thought my dog and i was shite but if i listened to them and not do me own shit i would of packed in ! so you get a start and progress and do your own field work cos you cant learn it out a book can you?this bloke was gospel when i was younger and their isnt much about now ! most books go on what othe

we use this stuff its like a soft thin cloth or wadding you get it in a compacked bale its about 9 quid from a place called k9 in middlesbrough it has a swimming pool for your dogs and he says the greyhound lads use it and i fined it pretty good apart from it sticking too your dogs and blowing round the garden ha ha ,but it keeps em warm and soaks in any moisture that may be present on the dogs :thumbs-up: cheers dave

you are dead right their mate ! but when i grew older i still felt the same because i red them while i was young ! if people think it is gospel what they read they can not be getting out enough to prove other wise , but you are right when i was young his books got me spured on !! and you get out a bit your self and learn !and i am only 29 now so ive still got alot to learn . i think he would of got more respect as a writer and that would of been it ! but he had to bring out that terrier which i personly think was his biggest down fall ! you dont hear much of the lurcher but that might just asw
