  6. why do you feel the need to put everything anyone else says down ,why not try and learn something from others for once ,and if someone says something you don't like then who cares ?
  7. They look crackers mate ,I'd love to have one but I just couldn't give it the work it deserves, I got two old hobs here ages 8 and 6 father and son from a family of albino pugs I've bred for 35 years and they the last two ,I lost the old ones brother last week and last Jill went couple year ago now . I'm sure they will all go and get the work they deserve. ATB Mooch

  11. they dog blind mate , I've got a terrier thing here that's took hares Of course the Saluki bred coursing dogs are better suited to chase a hare and of course if you run dogs for sport and are willing to risk your dog ,motor ,etc for a hare then all the best to them .

  14. You can but it doesn't always work and to be honest, I think I used the right dog over her and If she's taken I'll keep the biggest dog pup and I can place 3/4 pups with mates and if we any left they will go at the cost of a bag of feed and chip, dew claws .
  15. that's the problem finding something that's grafting because if you haven't seen the dog work you only going on stud dog owners word ,I was looking for a stud for my bitch and ended up with 3 to choose from : bedy x grey bedy x whippet would have been ideal but even though the owner reckons the dog works she said it was only 2 yr old so it's not seen much so I was left with a really nice working whippet a mate keeps but my bitch fcuking hates him ,we tried to get them together but she wasn't having it and I'm not one for muzzleing up dogs to mate so I used a mate's dog ,he's mostly retired now
  16. Thinking of selling my kit Just wondering how much it's worth mk3 box ,collar "only used couple times" Long net basket , Couple 25 yard stop nets 50 yard long net with poles 60 purse nets "spun poly " 10 poke nets "spun Poly" Ferreting harness with two net bags "nearly new " They isn't enough rabbits about for me to lug all my kit about along headge rows so I think it's time let a lot of it go,I won't be buying in any more pugs and I only have two old hobs left that are well over there working days . 17. Why do some feel a lurcher as to take hares to be any good? or bred a certain way to be good? I've seen some great runs on hares over the years but to me a good lurcher is a lot more than a hare dog .
  18. You not got a runner now
  19. I agree with you,the lurcher world as lost one of the greats and it's a lot poorer without Phil !
