Cheers mate, yep its called a porta aim and it's small and solid 8 to 12 inch and perfect for bench rest and sniping, best from a slightly elevated position or where the grass is not too high

Well done robo, what ft lbs do the 97’s run at in NZ? Am I right in thinking that spring guns aren’t limited but all pre charged are on ticket?
Hi yep, no regulations for springers, but all pcps incl 12 ft lb are fac, mines bang on 15 ft lbs and loves jsb heavies, in177, with the vortek kit, Vortek informed me they aim for 14/15 ft lbs, although the. 22 can be pushed to 17,
I find 15 in177 really nice to shoot

Hi
I moved to New Zealand 23 years ago, have had all sorts of firearms, over the years, got into archery and bowhunting, licence expired, didn't bother renewing it, and have now returned to my favourite of all time, spring powered air rifles, I have an HW97K Blue laminated version, and have tuned it myself, and am running a new engine - the Vortek PG2 SHO,
have had great success with both targets and hunting, and now visit a mates property where I pick off rabbits at long-range [for an air rifle].
