What you really mean is it bites & behaves like a ball of fury when you try to do anything with it , spits , hisses & is generally antisocial ? You related to my missus? What I mean is he is a polecat and behaves like a polecat (something I was unaware of when I acquired him), no hissing or spitting but antisocial I will give you. Im not looking to fob him off on some unsuspecting owner, you have a suspicious mind Kay. Ok here we go, I have kept and worked ferrets for several years, I handle all my animals every day but due to work/ family commitments etc only for a very limited time. The opportunity came up to take this Polecat and I made a snap judgement without the information of the handling time Polecats require. Yes I find the animal difficult to handle, unlike any ferret I have experienced which is why he requires rehoming after a very short period with me. The easy way would be to ignore my mistake and keep the animal in an unsuitable home, that way I would have avoided judgemental c

I have a 16wk old Euro' Polecat hob (J McKay bred) which needs a new home. Having been mis informed about these animals i dont have the time or experience this animal requires so he needs a new suitable home. Will swap for 1-2 young fert jills to add to my team, prefer coloured. Open to alternative offers. Hi Waz, I have kept Light Sussex as dual purpose for the last 4 years, we have a good strain which produce 4-5 eggs a week and we also rear a few for the table each year. They are not fast to put weight on but reach a good killing weight without too much fuss. Take care to get the right stock whichever breed you get as many have been selectively bred for the show bench rather than production. Tabs

Due to an unfortunate non closeure of ferret quarters (I cant get to angry she is very pregnant), and the resulting loss of my best gill.. it gets better doesnt it, I have a lone ferret in my court which I need some company for ASAP. If anyone can help I would appreciate. I am based in Bedfordshire but would be willing to travel reasonable distance this weekend. Pls let me know by PM will be logged on all night. Jonathan

I must tell all, imagine a young courting couple out for a new years walk in the calming bedfordshire country side, warm weather, Robins flitting through the hedgerows...all is good in the world. The foot path meanders passed a paddock with frolicking horses, but hold on.. thers a rustlinging the bushes.."..dear what can that be?.." enter Markieboi from stage right.. a six foot cursing monster shatters the peace by falling through the hedge (for the second time that day) almost taking an established ash with him.. Chub - liquidised bread and crushed hemp in a cage feeder with flake on the hook - dont be shy to put a decent lump on (if water coloured just flavour it) Perch - Lob lob lob Pike - why bother?
