This is my new pup a whipxgrey.I have never owned this cross before so we will see how she goes but so far she has been great at four months old she can clear the stair gate so jumping wont be a problem and she is very obiediant. I got this dog by chance when going to buy a hob ferret from wales.When i went in the house i saw this pup running round like a rocket so i commented on what a crackin dog she was the n this woman said i could have her as her son wants an older dog thats already catching stuff so as the saying goes NEVER LOOK A GIFT HORSE IN THE MOUTH.

The best thing is to go to his yard and have a look at his dogs. I think then you will have a better idea if thats were you want a dog from.

We have bred English Bull Terriers for 10 years now,And like most breeders that breed all kind of dogs are learning something new every time we breed,Like any good breeder if there is a fault found in any puppy that we have bred, We would like to be the first to be told,This was a very noticable problem with this puppy, and told DH as he was the breeder,Also because i would'nt be able to work this dog,Don't get me wrong DH had the puppy back with no problem,It was the fact that when we showed him the problem he was ablivious to know what he would be looking for and dismissed it quite quickly W

Maybe DH lurchers are as good as the next mans afterall i was happy to buy one. My problem was with the answer he gave about an ear fault .From a man who has bred these dogs for many years plus written books about the breed i find it hard to beleive he does not know what a dogs ear canal looks like as my 9 year old son could see the problem.

I Think a a good dog is what you make it you will only get out what you put in but i recentley purchased a pup of hancock but had to take it back as it was deff. when i took the dog back i explained that the problem was the dog had no ear canal opening wich i said i would show himwich he replied (its no good me looking i wouldnt have a clue what ime looking at) ime no animal expert but i know what adogs feckin ear looks like. His ad says specilist breader. You make up your own mind.

contact defra and enqiure about a license to feed dogs cat 1 waste then you can purchase fallen stock meat from knacker yard its as fresh as you like as it has just been killed that day i pay 30p a kilo i only feed horse meat to my dogs when they are workin hard but if they are not in work they ended up to hyper but you get the best of beef from these places and the good thing is less crap than with bisciuts Thanks mate sounds good.

Look in the countrymans weekly theres aplace called TPMS i have my meat from there i think they deliver all over uk . Pretty good on price too.
