    i dont no about the greyhound thing. but my favourite line of hare coursing dogs has to be FOXY'S, theres a couple lads on here with pups and foxy is there grand dam and the other grand dam is dancer. now that is pure class in my eyes. if i were to get a pup (specifically for coursing which im sure i will ) i would like a pup to be something along this breeding. Blondie x Caspa. Caspa - Foxy x Deacon Blondie - Dancer x Nipper so youre still keeping the bloodlines tight but all the more you are getting youre self IMHO. a very decent bred pup. cheers.

    the dog in my avatar is not my dog. that is sniper a coursing dog. i have a saluki type lurcher bitch and a saluki/greyhound pup. cheers

    its very possible mate , but hare coursing isnt just for the Sal/Grey's but they seem to be the best cross for this job epecially daytime. whippets usually reac around 20 inches mate youres could possibly make 21 tts.but experienced whippet men will tell you better. cheers

    Was Just wondering what the best litter of lurcher has been. where the whole litter worked the purpose to a tee. say a litter of hare dogs do the job as good as can be or bull cross on fox etc etc. pre-ban. cheers

    ? you mean cover my bitch with a collie greyhound? its just like i said have easy access to pure greyhound or 1/4 bull greyhound and i know they both good dogs Also know the saluki dogs are more popular with the coursing lads but mine does everything i have asked of her and i just like saluki blooded dogs never been to keen on collie looking dogs. i know looks arent important but if i kennel something i like i feel more chance of getting the best out of it. why dont you breed it to a good coursing dog mate. yeah have thought about it, its just getting in touch with the right people,

    litters can vary mate. you can some that throw to the bully side , some that throw saluki ish, and then if youre lucky theres 1 or 2 that get the mix right.

    have to agree hares are easier caught in harder terrain , thick cover , heavy plough etc etc.
