    as a kid whippet lurchers were all I knew ,most were crossed with any old cur ,but all did a tidy job, and all pups were bought and sold locally same with ferrets and pigeons ?

    only ever been there once in me life only for a day for a delivery and a collection in Glasgow ? had 6 hours 2 spare what difference Glasgow from loch Lomond ? lol

    as one who is both sides of the fence since I got a ten bob note and a bottle brown ale I must say lurchers were my first love and they will be my last ? get on .

    oh there are deffo some left because some us don't know any different , and theres still a few that don't just keep aim point fire lurchers ?

    exactly most of my per mission comes through keepers and farmers that neighbour the shoot, its deffo favour for favour ? and its also keeps the dogs alert , anyway don't think I know one lurcher owner that has always been on the right side of the fence ? lol

    ha ha I didn't learn the trade from the right side of the fence either ,and I still think the grass is greener on the dark side ? lol my lurchers learnt to pick up what was knocked of the perch on a windy night ? and remember some of the best gamekeepers were once poachers and still are ? lol

    there used to have big hare shoots in our area where they once thrived ? hence they are now scarce because of morons like the knob in the photo.its also not unusal to come across a field of the rotting carcasses of rabbits where they have been rifled at night and just left where there shot ?great ammo for the antis I must say ?

    and even work your dog in the beating as all a beating dog has to have are good stop and go buttons ? iv beat and picked with mine for years , and its great seeing a steady lurcher bettering the all the gear no idea spaniel kickers ? lol
