View from my office yesterday, I love posh shooting folk, very generous once you’ve got a few drinks into them, I’m going to go back to work tomorrow, I’ve had a month off now and it’s time to go back

Calorie conscious beef dinner today because the missus wants to shed a few pounds, no butter, no cream, no lard, it’s just not the same

Touting for business around here today, numbers must be falling, I was very polite didn’t mention dinosaurs and even offered them a brew because the old dear looked freezing doing her gods work

I’m no scientist but how I look at it is science tries to prove or disprove theories where as people who believe in god seem to say this is what it says in my little book so it’s true and you can’t question that because it’s the word of “ a god “ even if people have other little books that tell a different story I would say there’s more truth in my tax return than in the bible and that’s a complete fu*king work of fiction ( lol )

I believe some of the stories in the bible to be true, I believe there was a massive flood but I believe this to be a tsunami probably caused by an earthquake, but people at that time had been told stories of a vengeful god, I also believe there was probably a character called Jesus but I don’t believe he was the son of god, for me the numbers are all wrong, things were happening millions of years before us but all of a sudden once we came it was all about us and everything before us was irrelevant, if god created man in his image why do we spend so much time hating each other, surely we are a

Cottage pie tonight

Exactly this, it makes no difference to me what anyone’s beliefs are but you can’t tell me something and not expect me to question it and if I ask for proof and you are unable to provide it, how can you then expect me to believe it, you should always question everything because if you just take the words of others as the truth we never move forward

In science you have theory, probability and fact test the theory gives you probability, if you can then test the theory in different ways and get the same answer you then get fact you can’t test religion because it’s only the word of human kind no religion has ever come out with fact or probability only theory At a cellular level everything that lives is made of the same stuff put together in slightly different ways, science still hasn’t got all the answers but we are learning at an unbelievable rate and through theory and probability becomes fact where as religion will o

Like lee I’ve not read all this thread but this is my take on it firstly, when I was at school I took RE mainly to toss it off, but I used to enjoy asking questions that the teacher simply couldn’t answer, mainly about dinosaurs and how she knew her chosen god was listening to her, I prefer to follow the science as whatever god people decide to follow doesn’t cure cancer, science does for me, the science says the earth is around 4.5 billion years old, radio metric data has come up with this number with an estimate that life started around 3.5 billion year ago, life on earth has evol

If you went for a first time grant for both it would be just short of £400, it works out about £6.50 a month over the 5 years so not to bad, I’ve got no problem paying £155 for a coterminous renewal, but this is only what I’ve read online and the internet isn’t known for telling the truth
-
From what I’ve just read it’s going to change from the 5th of February FAC grant £198 FAC renewal £132 SGC grant £194 SGC renewal £126 Coterminous renewal £155 variation £47 not as bad as the numbers that were originally being reported but still a hike and you can bet your arse the medical cert will double and the extra money won’t go back into firearms licensing

I like it, especially cooked in butter with garlic I been thinking of what foods I don’t like and can only come up with sweetcorn ( the food of the devil) and tripe, oh, and anything with coffee, I’ve no idea how people drink that stuff, even the smell of it makes me gip

10 year stretch for being a gullible mong, over the past few years there’s been a bit of that round this way but it seems to be in certain circles, I don’t think it will take off with the walking dead around here, as long as they all keep getting their fake pregabs, zoppies and benzo’s, I bumped into a lad I used to go to school with a few weeks ago, got him a coffee which he used to take a handful of tablets, very sad, I used to go to raves with him and when we stopped partying he moved on to the smack, only 46, looking at him I don’t think he’ll make 50
