Nice hour walk out this afternoon, took my mate young’un with me so we didn’t go to far as there’s only so much 10 year old talk I can handle -
Cod loin rapped in prosciutto with hasselback potatoes, asparagus and a chestnut mushroom sauce
-
Quick school job this morning, internal manhole, good jobs these days pay for a couple of hours, flooring lads will come in and hide my work
-
Wall finished and back filled, hedge pull out and a tree to open up the view, managed to collapse a drain with the digger so I’ve had to rebuild that and put a 40T cover on, got to divert the yard water into it on Monday when I’ve picked up some pipe and some 45’s ( £130 for a bloody manhole cover )
-
I’d do some digging on them, the Stamford avk will be an expensive alternator/gen I think they are part of Cummins, the other is just a cheap ish motor, but if it’s a popular one it might be worth a few quid

Cottage pie tonight

Chicken masala tonight

Got some sandstone laid in between the snow showers, like most of my work, it looks better the further away you get
-
I’ve mapped a couple out, it need to be done right, you can’t just delete the ad-blue because dpf’s, egr’s and a load of other stuff start seeing different sensor readings and chucking up loads of different faults when I worked for iveco someone brought a van in that had had the ad-blue deleted it wouldn’t let me rewrite the ecu so it cost £3400 in ecu’s then the ad-blue repair, it was enough to write the van off but the insurance wouldn’t pay out on it so the company had to take the hit and pay the bill

it’s basically water and urea with a few other chemicals It’s added to the exhaust and when it’s heated it turns into ammonia which breaks the Nox down to into nitrogen and water ( or something along those lines)
-
Sea bass with a ratatouille ( only I chucked some chorizo in, because everything is better with chorizo)
-
It’s terrible stuff, it doesn’t half do some damage to seals in the fuel system and if you put fuel in the ad-blue that’s just as bad, when I was on the trucks all I ever did was ad-blue and DPF faults, quite a few of the repairs were in the thousands, when they first came out I’d find drivers pissing in the tank because they thought it was just pig piss
-
Yard levelled, wall foundation in, now just got to build some kind of wall from all this sh*t sandstone, I better get on YouTube and become an expert sandstone wall builder by morning
-
New job today, working for the young lass I started doing this type of stuff for, levelling out yard, fencing, retaining wall and later will be a horse arena and stables, 1.8 million they have paid for this place and it’s stunning

Beef and mixed mushrooms ragu, with yesterday’s leftover beef, always tastes better than it looks
-
Yeah, homemade, I can’t be doing with them things from the freezer
-
Yardie on Netflix, what an absolute load of sh*t, even Stephen Graham couldn’t save this pile of kak
-
Another usual Sunday, pot roast beef, I could of just had the gravy with some crusty bread
-
For her, cod loin in panko, with new spuds and tender stem for me, baked cod loin with a chorizo and Mediterranean vegetables stew, this is the type of food I like, I think the only way this could of been any better is if I had added a few mussels and cooked them in the stew
-
Sounds like we are married to the same woman, mine does both them things, she even thanked one for calling ( lol )
-
A mate said try this, it’s very nice, absolute pi*s, if he thinks this is better than Weston’s I don’t think I want to be his friend anymore
-
Cheapo steak, chips and garlic, thyme mushrooms
