  1. Be careful getting your tail out it could get you into bother ?
  2. The Passat is nice but a bit basic inside, if you are going down that route I’d go for the A4 avant s line it’s the same car but with a bit more bling ?
  3. They are lovely, you would want the r line, it’s pretty much an Audi A6
  4. The only problem I know of is the emissions cheat but this was a program written into the ecu, there was a mass recall to remove this and in some models they changed the MAF I think, you can check this with Audi to see if it’s been done, it’s like buying any car at some point it will need a repair, the one thing to look out for with Audi is the front suspension, check for bush and ball joint wear, it’s a bit of a complicated set up and it isn’t cheap to replace parts
  5. I would say the Audi is the better engine, ( I can only really comment on diesel because this is what I work on ) merc are also reliable but very expensive when they go wrong, merc make engines for merc where as Audi also includes vw, seat, Skoda so this tends to bring the price of parts down, as for the handling you won’t get better than Audi for 4 wheel drive, I took the wife’s car out a couple of weeks ago and had a bit of a play with an M4, the BMW is a much more powerful car but I left him for dead as he couldn’t cope with corners
  6. I’ve had audi’s For years mainly a4’s and love them ( saying that I’ve got a vw at the min but it’s the same thing) the s line are a very nice spec, the wife drives a new s3 and that’s another level to the s line, the newer AMG’s are also very nice merc have moved away from the gray taxi plastic, as for the BMW I’ve had one and really didn’t like it, felt like driving something a long the lines of a mondeo
  7. Keep at it mate, the best bet is small holdings and stables, my mate has just got his first little plot after months of trying, some stables and paddocks, ideal for a bit of bunny bashing and a few woodies, if you keep going something will turn up ?
  8. Now that’s a proper day out, nice work ?
  9. You won’t buy better than nightmaster ?
  10. It works well, you don’t need to be to careful with it, it’s more about making them dull, as you said if they are that close they should be dead
  11. You can get a flock kit for about £25 they do about 35 decoys if you get the adhesive with the flock in a bag not the spray on flock
  12. I’m sure they appreciate your hard work, I see a look of love in that girls eyes ?
  13. Have you had a look at the tikka t1x, I’ve had hold of one but never fired one, they look a proper bit of kit and I’ve never seen a bad review of them
  14. Nice work, I bloody love shooting these around the farm
  15. All head shot, no meat damage, I’m thinking bunny burgers for a weekend barbecue ??
  16. They are a cracking semi but it depends how much it’s had through it ?
  17. That’s spot on, buy the synthetic CZ and treat yourself to a vortex scope
  18. I’d go cz, the anschutz are nice but the do cost a chunk more, I’ve got a browning T bolt in .17 and CZ in .17 the browning was a lot more money than the CZ but shoots no different, if anything the CZ has a better trigger than the browning
  19. Bless them, they were both about 12 years old, a least they had a trip out to see the horses ?
  20. My input would be tikka t3 over the howa but it comes down to personal choice, I know someone who has a Howa 1500 and it never misses a beat they just seem a bit more rugged than the tikka ?
  21. We have them nesting every year in the workshop, normally around 15 to 20 pair, only seen about 8 or 10 birds so far, but there’s still time
  22. Looks like us teessiders are multiplying, don’t get them wet and don’t feed them after midnight
  23. I may have a little opportunity for someone on my pheasant shoot in North Yorkshire, around the farm is a few rabbit sets and they are eating everything in the garden, I’ve been shooting a few but not really getting on top of them, I was thinking of taking someone to have a go ferreting it for me, I would want whoever came to be experienced and know what they are doing, I can’t say you will come away with a bag full but there is a few about and nobody else gets to go on this land, you would need your own gear as this is something I don’t do and I wouldn’t take more than two people with me, it
