It’s a cracking little spot mate, it’s not the biggest but as you will know when rabbits are involved it doesn’t need to be massive a couple has soon turned into a load?
-
Sad news, I’ve had a word and it would seem I’ve got no chance of getting this land, I tried the “ ive found fox near your pen “ trick and the response was cheers for letting me know I’ll get the shoot lads on to it, on the up side I was offered crow shooting over barley on another bit of land so not all bad

This one thought he was smart

The cub situation seem a little bit odd this year, I’ve not seen one yet seen a few adults on my pheasant shoot but I’ve normally seen the cubs by now, I’ve been round the play areas where they spend the days and there’s no real evidence of family group activity, all I can think is they are a little late with the bad winter or I did such a good job last year there’s nothing left?? -
Cracking, they seem to be out enjoying the weather ?

Nice one, he looks to be in good nik, was there any cubs in tow, I’m looking forward to my first trip out on the pheasant shoot next week now ? -
I’d be over the moon with that, my mrs made me sell my RM 250 slingshot years ago to buy a sofa for our first house It won’t be long before your heart is in your mouth watching him airborne I also had a KX 500 for a bit, but I spent more time falling of that than riding it

Changing the subject completely ive been out working with my mate today ( little fencing job ) this was an old farm that had been bought as a private residence 700 acres it has 2 private woods at about 5 or 6 acres and it’s boundrie is the river tees, my mates brother farms some of the land and he runs a small private game shoot for the owner i would give a kidney for the shooting on here and after a look around I’ve came up with a plan, I found an active fox earth near the river, at some point it’s been a badger set but the Charlie have moved in, it stinks, it’s also only 500 yards

Ha ha, I bet you have had complaints but can’t hear them all the way up there ?
-
Ha ha, I thought it was because of the size of his legs but you have got me thinking now hes definitely not coming now?
-
I have to say I love your work, it so different to what you normally see, everything look alive, to me they always look like you have captured a moment from the wild ?
-
That’s a good buy, they are one of the best bits of kit I’ve bought ?
-
A sure way for me to get kicked off would be the sight of me in a pair of speedo’s I was going to take longshanx for a walk round but he’s better looking than me so knowing my luck he’ll get to party in the hot tub and I’ll get to sit in the paddock
-
Oh yes, half of them are now a rabbit and spinach curry, the numbers do seem to be up on last year, hopefully the hard winter we had done them good
-
The little 22, took the 17 had a go with it and put it away, the property is at the foot of the North Yorkshire moors and the noise was a bit to much as the owners were out enjoying the late evening sun, the hot tub and a glass of fizz not a bad life, when I turned up the woman did make me laugh, she asked if I wanted to join them before shooting, the way she was talking I thought I was going to have to put my car keys in a bowl if you know what I mean?
-
I’m with you on that, I can spend hours just walking around enjoying my surroundings
-
I’m over the moon with my new permission, grass paddocks, something I’m short of in my collection of land
-
Nice work, it’s certainly been a warm one ?
-
That looks better with the SAK, i always like to see a bit of barrel?
-
My .22 with the SAK doesn’t make any more noise than my mates air arms 410 ( unmoderated)
-
Armex on my 16” browning .17hmr, very similar to the reflex approx 8” long and slim fits the rim fire very well, I use a short SAK on the .22
-
It’s not a very good way to conduct business, I understand that the biggest market comes first but a proper release date should be given, instead what will happen is one RFD will get a couple, sell them and then everybody else waits as they come in in dribs and drabs
-
Browning seem to be bad at this if there’s something you want that’s not on the shelf you wait an age for it where as CZ seem to have this side of sales and after sales down to a fine art and this is part of the reason they have been top of the sales list for rim fire for so long ( and the fact they are cheap and work perfectly ) you would think tikka would take a leaf out of CZ book as it’s the first time they have ventured into rim fire they could potentially take over the higher end of the rim fire market if they get there sales plan right
-
I can’t see why it takes so long to release the 17 in right handed when they have the 22 out, if there’s a demand for it you would get your product to the people who want it
-
Lefty’s normally follow a couple of years later, if the rights do good sales, I had a nightmare getting the browning .17 hmr the way I wanted it and they had the full lefts on the market, I still had to get it cut down to 16” I feel discriminated against for shooting wonky lefty
-
The should be out soon they have been banging on about them for months now, I wouldn’t mind the ,22 but I haven’t seen any in full lefty yet
