    Bad luck that mate, must admit I'm always out on my own and don't get a phone signal in some bits. I have thought about one of them GPS things just for peace of mind. Seen a Motorola defy satellite link for £159 with a years free subscription. Allows you to txt home with no signal and a SOS to thunderbirds in case your proper fooked and break summat. Just as a back up peace of mind thing really.

    Been watching a new catty channel, sorry can't put link up as I don't do techno. It's called , geodie carnivore. Just a lad and his son out hunting with the slings. Does a few catch and cook ect. Just a heads up and worth a watch. Cheers

    Cheers for that, am actually working as we do a few outside events to set up and collect the morning after so for the past month I've been mowed out in work all weekends, hence not been out myself. But I will in the future mate. Cheers

    Just had a quick look at these before I went work, look good. Wouldn't save me any weight but a higher comfort level. I enjoy his tent testing vids. Come across these the other day , check out Zenbivy. It's a all in one sleep system. A bit too heavy for me but do look a good night kip. I watched a couple of vids and looked at there web site. A novel idea.

    I read his autobiography, really enjoyed it a cracking read. And fair play to him, worked dam hard to get were he has got in life.

    Stop paying mine 9 years ago. I still get letters saying court proceedings are under way and they get filed in log burner. It's been some years since a plonker knocked on the door and challenged me, but they get delt with and shown on there way. In fact 9 years on the letters just say to the house holder and they don't even know my name despite the fact I've owned the house for 20years. The TV licence thing is built on scaremongering. To add all these threatening letters have never had any impact on my credit score which is very good. Trust me fec em and just stop paying and funding a huge non

    Just watched full fight, am not a decca fan. But he did let Robbie up a few times when I think he could of took his opportunity. I certainly don't think it was a clear cut win for Robbie

    Had one of these myself as well for years , proper good little stove for the dollar. It's just that my others pack down smaller and fit in a 750ml and 450ml titanium pot and weigh less again . Food for thought .

    I just use meths from pound shop or bio ethanol. Av a look at des cattys stoves on Etsy or Google speedster stoves both dead cheap for just the burner. Also I like proper food a steak or burger or take a chilli in a zip lock freezer bag. Them summit meals are a rip off, some are a tenner a pop. And eating food out of a foil bag. Eek that I want a nice glass of red and a steak or a gourmet burger lol. Don't get my wrong I've ad them bags and are convenient, but I just prefer proper food and enjoying cooking it in the hills taking my time and away from the hustle n bustle of life work ect. Jus
