  1. A lot of the smaller shoots around me haven't bothered to put birds down this season due to the bird flu ect. Shame to see these small shoots fold. What's the situation elsewhere up and down the country ?
  2. This is a nice little cheap tent of mine the Alpkit Soloist, I think there only about £120 ish. Really light, but a small one man tent. I was happy with it
  3. Us northerners are like the special forces, the elite of the elite
  4. Trust me, we don't want you soft southern fairies anyway up here. It's a man's world .....
  5. Or a terrier spaniel cross or similar
  6. That would be exactly what I would want, and no going to ground. The days of digging things at night and looking over your shoulder are well well gone for me now. Just a little mate to mooch with a d retrieve things out of cover or off water.
  7. I quite fancy a Plummer terrier as a mooching/catty dog
  8. And mine is green, £230 for a 4 season tent is nowt lol
  9. You can get it a lot cheaper than that lol, only paid £230 for mine brand new on offer
  10. Brilliant that, I think I remember you talking about her years ago. Sounds ideal
  11. Check out the terra nova bizzard 2 is a 4 season tent at a great bargain price, not to heavy and bomb proof
  12. I've got wild country/ terra nova bizzard 2 and hoolie 2 compact. Both very bombproof for price
  13. Had a quick mooch at first light, not a lot about. One woody and let dogs stretch there legs
  14. Bonney dog. I ain't add digging dogs for 15 years or more. But I always fancied a Plummer as a mini mooching ratching about dog. Cheers DC
  15. Bonney dog DC looks well. Have you still got the plummer ? How you getting on with it
  16. I get you 100%, I just like trying new frames it's very addictive lol. These are my latest, couldn't get on with the evo at first but now sussed it and like it
  17. Am new to slings, only shot flats. Bought that gypsy tubed shooter and can't hit a barn door with it even if I move my anchor point, but the inbetween fork gap is 40mm and I can't get hang of it. Currently shooting a pro shot ppmg + in OTT and loving it
  18. If you had to pick flats or tubes, which one
  19. I mac I think there a bit eccentric tbh, he's hardly William Defoe lol
