  1. There used to be a fella called Marc H Glenn who used write in EDRD who lived up Scotland. He had a pure beardie he worked then bred some half crosses to a greyhound. I watched it work once up Scotland, it was only a very young dog. But very steady and superbly trained and a credit to the fella.

  8. I think if I was ever to get back in the lamping game, bearing in mind I've never ever had any permo. It would be a thermal to spot, and then lamp on for a run. I've got a thermal now a pulsar, for pottering about. And I think back in the day when I was bang at it, they would be a game changer.
  9. They can’t all be winners, I had a grandson to bulpa , had high hopes for the pup. But it just never got used to travelling in motors . And at that time in my life all my lamping was a good few hours travelling. I ended up gifting the sapling to a local lad who bushed foxes local , as unfortunately the pup never ever was right in motor’s .

  12. No bull in the ones we used to run, my dog was a grandson of blue and one of the lads I used lamp with from up there was out of Andy's Bulpa. I can't comment on the recent ones as it was the 90,s when I kept and ran them. They were just a lurcher x lurcher mix, but ours were heavy with collie. But they kept are freezers full of all sorts and us on our toes back then lamping
