I don’t dislike u , I find you breed blind and come out with shit most of the time but don’t dislike you mate ? ? I can’t be arsed to comment on a lot of the drivel wrote on here if honest , I’ve owned bull x lurchers from 1/2s to coursing bulls and had some not so bad ones , I’ve run them all over the UK on everything and they haven’t or don’t do so bad for me , their not everyone’s cup of tea I get that but I don’t try to make out they are like you , coursing dogs have they place and won’t be beaten on their prey a hare but I’ve said before anything bigger than a Roe most will struggle -
I know you’ve had an illness mate and I wish you a full and speedy recover ,I sincerely do , but I think you would severely suffer on any ground at the min size of you ?

Loads of really sporting chaps on here , old big Ron must be non sporting and have shit dogs as when I was in the catching deer game I wouldn’t care if they hit fences , trees , caught in the open or caught the number 57 bus to my front door as long as I caught them and they ended in my freezer ? you got to keep it honest and believable lads ? now bucks and stags in the rut are a different thing and this is sport of kings ? but they still didn’t get the 100 yard slip McCUll ? we only used 1 or 2 dogs at most before you start and no motors helped ?,but this was all pre ban now old Ron

Have you really seen dogs , thrown into trees or stamped on ? I have seen dogs been gouged / kicked and a few deaths including 2 of mine plenty of times over the years ,but never thrown into trees or stamped on like a video going around Facebook of a moose stamping on sledge dogs this week .We’re talking fallow bucks here and red stags not moose ? Not being funny here just interested to know , you caught many fallow bucks or red stags ? All preban of course

Sorry mate if I’m being bit thick here , but what are you showing there ? Don’t say that dark bit of skin about an inch from the eye ffs ?
-
Oh yes don’t I know it ?? But in all 3 it’s easy to work out if you’ve been about a bit ?

Any deer like any animal is a lot wiser ‘ smarter if it’s been dug / run before , certain parts of country will have better quarry than other parts
-
With bigger deer it’s more having the balls to take the, than speed , I’ve seen coursing dogs that murder roe but will pull up on fallow ,

I change around every few weeks , bit old to be measuring dicks now and saying I drink 10 pints of Henry Weston’s , I go for taste now every time weather it’s 3 % 0r 9% ?
-
I can be like that but only after a skin full of Bullmers ?
-
Like everything , more a dog does better it gets at it . Big Ron’s had a few 1/2s that excelled in the woods, these were on the bigger deer thou , all my dogs are out everyday / nite in woods , playing , exercising, working etc sometimes I don’t even hit the fields just lamp woods as it holds everything I need .

We’re not arguing but debating , big Ron is a lover not a fighter ?
-
I keep my own stuff but thanks for the offer ? Are yours pure coursing dogs or lurcher x coursing dogs ?
-
I disagree mate , have you seen this with your own eyes ? I have seen loads off / out of all the top stuff and apart from hares and up to roe deer they won’t do it after a season . im not breed blind , I’ve been at the game I do 40 years and if they were the best I’d have them in my kennel
-
Your talking a very small percentage here , but you can say the same with every breed there is always going to be exceptions
-
Hope you get back fully to 100% health ASAP. Back to topic ? 99% of coursing dogs aren’t taking bigger deer than roe and I’m not even putting into the equation things that bite back ? coursing dogs are one trick ponies and it’s even hard to find a good one at that , that’s not lied about or wrapped in cotton wool and at open stud .
-
Dear Mc I don’t know what muppets you knock around with , but I’ve only ever gone with 2 dogs and 2 people ( a dog each )most of my life, maybe a few more the few times when guests have been invited . im not kennel blind and know my dogs limitations with the different percentages of bull in them, for all round work right up to big deer you won’t beat a coursing bull …..fact your totally breed blind , and anything above roe you will struggle with 99% of coursing dogs …..fact How much coursing do you do or have done anyway, I know your not a well man so fair one if you can’

Interesting comments on this post you learn something new everyday , that’s 40 years down the drain ? I’ve waisted my time keeping what I keep the last 20 years then …ffs … if only I’d come on here earlier and leant a few things …..dam ….?

Good topic and good advise on here lads , spot on ?
-
So much aggression and threats being shown on here , have a cider and chill , instead of hand bags at dawn that will never happen ?
