William zepeda and tevin farmer are having a decent scrap on the billam-smith-zurdo card at the minute.

Yeah Jones and Aspinall should fight next And I'll agree it doesn't look like Jones is keen on having anything to do with him But that's just one fight out of hundreds, admittedly there is probably more in the MMA world that people who know the ins and outs of it would be able to pull me up on, but in general I would say the fights that should be happening in MMA happen with far more frequency than they do in boxing, and I'm a boxing man.

Yeah those who f***d it off and went a bed made the right choice I'll be going bed and then waking up for the ufc main event tonight though Boxing is the best sport by far, but i can't knock the ufc and how it runs, best fight best, less rematches and hold ups, and where its all under one banner promoters can't keep getting involved and messing things up. Mma never be as good a sport as boxing but when it runs the way it does with no messing about then I don't see how you can knock it in my opinion.

Heard it was jank and the stream kept playing up. Wasn't a bit of me anyway to be honest, had no interest in it, but fairplay to them though they both earned big dough out of it but its just not for me. Katie Taylor fight that I have seen clips of looked brutal, and was clearly the best fight of the night. For anyone who follows the odd bit of ufc jon Jones is back in the cage tonight vs stipe miocic.

Regis prograis vs Jack Catterall tonight, won't be the greatest of fights, but something to watch Regis done sam Jones up like a kipper at the presser

That's exactly how I see it, DDD is way too easy to hit, Joe Joyce who in any fight has never been quick, both movement wise or punching wise, found DD with surprising ease, Hrgovic tee'd off on him all night long. You don't want to be easy to find against a man with the finishing skills and power of Joshua, which I think is gonna happen, AJ big KO around round 8 or 9, DD best chance is catching AJ early, which could happen but I see AJ doing the job, he seems to have gone back to the Tony Sims AJ which is forgetting trying to be a slick boxer and using his natural strengths and advantag

Try and see how you get on, but Yeah I'd say with an upper lower you would likely suffer the same as PPL with pre exhaustion. I'd just play about with it and find out what routine works best for you with what you want to achieve, look at areas where you're strongest and weakest, and work on weak areas more and go from there
-
Depends on your goals really. Push pull legs is a good one, however I find with that routine it can also leave a lot of lifts suffering, I ran PPL for a while but have recently gone back to a split and am loving it, the reason I stopped with PPL was because on push day for example it's a lot on the shoulders, for example bench and overhead press in the same session, one is going to suffer depending on which one you do first, even if you use cables or dumbbells I think the biggest benefit of PPL was time, you can get done in 3days gym wise and then focus on cardio etc, but I felt after a w

Haha, that's another thing, grub, so important, whether you're trying to get in shape and be lean, or get bigger and gain more mass, it just isn't happening either way it the grub isn't up to scratch A lot of people have it alright gym wise, good lifts and things, but it all falls short and they aren't anywhere near what they could be because the diet just isn't right

Yeah the amount and the time frame he did it in aswell, definitely a machine though ad you say. Sounds an interesting article mate and certainly one I would agree with. Also partial reps and things in general are fantastic for building muscle, I find full ROM is better for say explosive power and for sports, but for aesthetics partial reps can be great, especially if you are long limbed, your bodies mechanics and someone else's may be completely different, how you perform the rep may give the next man discomfort and vice versa. Also with each muscle you do need a good stretch and squeeze but t

Weight training can be great for people as they age, when people think resistance training they immediately think bodybuilding and roids, but weight training for people who are aging can mean keeping grip strength as good as possible, strength in the legs for keeping mobile and able as possible, with muscle particularly as you get older if you don't use it you'll lose it. Talking of bodybuilding I always thought lee haney talked a lot of sense, lee had lots of dealings with evander holyfield aswell 'You can fool those muscles but you can't fool those joints' was haneys words when ta

People over complicate training these days, paralysis by analysis, The staple of my training is pull ups, push ups and dips, both bodyweight and weighted, and with weights I stick to deadlift, bench, squat, ohp, rows, clean and press, isolation ill use dumbbell for things like rear delts and side delts, Burpees for conditioning and cardio, and other cardio ill do either sprints, rowing machine, ski erg or bike, but eat well, train hard with adequate rest, you grow and recover when you rest, not in the gym, get your protein, Don't do exercises you can't perform properly with silly

Bakole done the job well, stevie mckenna v joe laws on the sky card was a quality little 3round scrap, and crawford the better man yet again but full credit to madrimov who made it very awkward for him in there
-
Rich the fight historian, rummys corner and officehanchoboxing are some of the best boxing channels out there
-
Close competitive fight, the right man got the nod though But those scorecards didn't reflect the fight, Catterall had the cleaner work, but edged a lot of those rounds rather than dominated Silly scores

What a performance from usyk, measured and accurate and as calm as can be At one go tyson looked like he was gonna overwhelm usyk and possibly stop him but he couldn't do no good momentum wise, he was just wasn't enough of a challenge, usyk was unreal, what a talent. And tysons corner was a joke, yapping and talking s**t, usyks corner had 1 clear voice
-
If tyson doesn't work usyks body ill be shocked Usyk is an unreal talent, awkward fighter who gets the measure of people and then puts them in positions they don't really want to be in but it cannot be ignored that he doesn't like being hit to the body at all, not that anyone enjoys a good wallop up the ribs, but usyk certainly gives off vibes that he's susceptible to body shots I just hope for a good fight, but we could see it that where both men are so skilled they could ultimately cancel each other out, that and fury with the tying up and grabbing, but to me fury looks a bit lik

You can watch it on DAZN, Sky or TNT mate. Yeah sat 18th may
-
On to fury v usyk, there is some decent fights across may and June Real shame about beterbiev knee, 3-6month recovery time before he can even start a camp again And facing the likes of bivol after knee surgery, a man needs that like he needs a hole in his head

55 thousand strong in the Tokyo dome before the first bout, and they stayed all night! And bods want inoue to come to the States to box in front of 4k at the stub hub. Great card I thought, inoues brother has it all, except for that dynamite in his hands Nery dropping inoue was mad, but boy did inoue deal with it! And what a shot to end the fight Munguia brought it against canelo but just wasn't the same after the knockdown,Canelo didn't waste a shot, a patient and measured performance, something we'll see more of going forward I should imagine as he ages more

Was a very enjoyable card all told. Louis greene with a fantastic first round ko, huni and lerena tried to take each others heads off, fairplay to lerena boxing 2days after his mother passed away. Nick ball and Ray vargas fight of 2 halves, despite ball having everything against him physically, he does what he usually does and fought his heart out. Parker came back to outbox zhang, gavin gwynne suffered a bad beating, and aj got one of the best KOs I think I have ever seen. And madrimov and kurbanov delivered. Great card.

Ron mcIntosh is the pinnacle for ridiculous sports commentating, I find him hilarious though. If you listen to a fight night on the radio you'll hear all sorts out of him, he loves to describe where fighters are 'on the clock face' He compared joe Parker to a fighter in street fighter once,

100% a forced act. See some old videos of him the other week ago, when he was still in team GB, and he was sparring with that style for years etc etc, that may be so, but that ain't gonna stop the inevitable imo, he's gonna get beaten, likely stopped as he climbs the ranks He's in great shape, lives the life, but it's not for me, all that prancing about and waving your hands about against such low opposition People calling him a future world champ are off their heads in my opinion
-
Looks well that truck 100% People be all over that, Toyota make a good motor in general
-
I agree, I think the knowledge was there between him and lockett that it was likely the end of the road for him and they just wanted to give it one last go, he looked all over the place and the towel came in early. Ryders done the sensible thing, got out as soon as he knew he wasn't what he was physically, great little read in the boxing news a couple of weeks ago about his reasonings.
