    Aspinall

Jones wanted no part of Aspinall at this point
  2. If he lands in one of their local jails he'll be in for it Bad charge that is driving a motor at people on purpose.
  3. Love to see that, and love pull ups, brilliant exercise. I've seen grown men who could learn from that form in the first pic. Also I've seen someone mention back pain in this thread, this little video is a cracker
  4. Scull made a show of himself fighting like that, no desire, a pure embarrassing performance, Haney much the same aswell. Awful weekend for boxing apart from Inoue who saved it early hours this morning. Canelo didn't look 100% either.
  5. 100% mate,I'm into the bare knuckle There's some really poor fights out there in the Bkb, but some crackers aswell, spose like anything really It's definitely becoming more popular, and let's have it right it's boxing in it's original form
  6. I've seen this pop up all over the gaff this little debate There's even a twitter account made of a Gorilla posting all sorts of s**t You'd need 100 good men, men that are fighting men and elite in some sort of training, special forces or something, to do a gorilla, lots of studies saying gorilla's aren't as strong as we think, but still, 100 average men are getting wrapped up imo, absolutely flatpacked, you'll need good strategists aswell
  7. That shove earlier on today was terrible Yeah Turki do all he can to make it an event rather than just a boxing show I agree. Yeah heavyweight boxing isn't in that good of a place, I like moses itauma though. I think after this weekend we'll get Fury-Joshua soon aswell, late, very late, but I reckon we'll get it Yea UFC ain't doing too good lately at all, I've noticed that the past few shows, admittedly I follow boxing primarily but I do follow the UFC and have always liked its style but it doesn't seem to be as good as it was
  8. It will need a great card, I see what you're saying, but proper boxing people care about Usyk vs Dubois, casuals, who are the audience that sells out big stadiums like Wembley don't. Usyk is known to a point by casual fans, as is Dubois, more so after he beat Joshua, but I don't think they alone have the pull for Wembley I like the pair of them, but casuals will tune in for a Eubank Jnr v Benn and not Usyk vs Dubois The Eubank Benn fight sold because of the names and the way they marketed it, it got everyone involved, boxing men and general sports men, Usyk Dubois doesn't have that
  9. Usyk Dubois II on for Wembley Needs a massive undercard, can't see it selling out Wembley
  10. What a fight Might as well have been in a field or a pub car park Boxing chucked out the window, sloppy at times, as expected, but toe to toe all the way, even when gas tanks were getting empty Eubank was smart with his size, and im glad he got the decision, the right decision, close fight, but it was Jnrs
  11. Eubank is used to making the weight but the past few cuts have been a bit of a bad do for him And when you look at his structure you can't really see where he can lose much more, he's quite tight at the weight But I agree he's fought at a much higher level, is smarter, and Benn hasn't been half as damaging at 154 as he was at 140. Hoping eubank rips them uppercuts in and puts it all over Benn, he's smart and can ride the rounds to a late stoppage or comfortable points win imo.
  12. Summed up what I said to a friend earlier, divvy fight in all honesty, but yes we'll all be watching. It's a far better do than Jake Paul vs Chavez Jr... No make you right he didn't complain, but Liam Cameron seems to be a very is what it is type of man, takes lots of things in his stride. Talented as he is though I still think Whittaker will fall short somewhere down the line, he didn't like it at all when the going got tough in fight 1, took that as a bit of a look into his character
  13. I too make Snr right on his opinion, he knows only too well the dangers of the sport, especialy with silly novelty fights in different weight classes, he knows what's at stake And the fight is a spectacle and nothing more, without there surnames they wouldn't share a ring, that being said I will be watching it, it isn't a bad card st all, chris-billam smith is out and so's Liam smith, both in what could be very good fights I'm not a great lover of Eubank Jnr but I cannot stand Benn, if pushed for who i want to win, truth told I hope Jnr weighs Benn in, Jnr should keep Benn
  14. Happy st Georges day people Even though Church of England have moved the date to next week for the first time ever Still a good turnout for it in pockets of the country though
  15. Would you say he was genuinely as tough and game as everyone said? I've never seen anyone say he was exaggerated
  16. Yeah can get a bit lively in Coventry, haven't been there in years though. Is that Geoff Thompsons book watch my back? He wrote a few books didn't he, they reckon he was tough as they come
  17. That's the last of the big 70s legends gone True end of an era, and a great fighter, RIP big George Colin Hart, boxing reporter has passed away aswell.
  18. I think jnr will beat Benn and I hope he does too Can't stand Benn at all to be honest, and his opinion of his underwhelming career is just pure delusion, he thinks he is unreal bit he hasn't and won't amount to anything memorable IMHO, he's exciting to watch on a surface level, but he's nothing like his father and his 'power' seems to have dropped dramatically since the eggs s**t.
  19. Cor the fella reckons then most mens physiques were pathetic, I wonder what he'd make of the physiques today There wasn't one fat man sitting in that pub and they all looked reasonably well, having that discussion in a boozer today would look like casting for an addams movie Interesting how lots of people didn't understand or see the point of weights back then, just didn't get it, it's still like that today in a lot of ways, if you mainly lift weights people go oh but you couldlnt do this, or it won't help you do that... what if you're training for a 180kg squat, or a 160kg bench p
  20. I finished A Thousand Blows, decent little watch and looking forward to series 2 I agree it's not quite as accurate as they put it across, I think they was all based on real people but the people never set eyes on each other before in real life, there's a site called grappling with history, All about old prizefighting and wrestling in London, and there's a few articles on there about the real people. Stephen Graham is quality but that was definitely a moody accent Just watching the spider man of Paris now on Netflix, about a fella who pulled off a huge art burglary in

    Workouts?

The basis of my training is push ups, pull ups, dips and squats, both bodyweight and weighted, all your standard lifts like deadlift ,bench, Squat, ohp , with a few isolation exercises mixed in Burpees aswell are always in the mix for me and stuff for mobility I like circuits aswell, hiit circuits, but haven't been doing them much at all lately, doing one Saturday though, mainly been on the weights and burpees and LISS cardio like incline walking and the bike
  22. Keyshawn Davis vs Denis berinchyk tonight in the states Should be a good fight, two good fighters, I fancy davis to beat berinchyk who I don't think will go easily at all
  23. Yes got an attempt murder charge didn't he, beat a man with a hammer.
  24. I can't either and I've had a little look about since and still haven't found anybody Very naive indeed, what a stupid move when his career was looking promising.
