    Good job. Went ferreting in a orchard once, but was full to the brim with brambles, even though it was summer! nice dog also.

    Happened to me the other day. She came back after a week, was found in my rockery. she was very skinny! You are doing everyone what i did. a bit of patience. Plus contacting locals ferreters helps. one of my old ferrets was found 8 miles down the round in some persons ferret food!

    My ferts eat some of the meat but also they LOVE the eyes!! yummy

    If i dont have fresh meat i normally feed them dry food, james wellbeloved, sounds ponsy but the ferrets love it.

    Its amazing what springers and dogs can do to help! 700 quid! thats a few bob, but i guess its worth it, the pup im getting is 450. i thought that was alot!

    Hey, One of my jills has started getting a blue belly? Around the areas near its bits? I have no clue why it is ike that. Also her paws are starting to get a bit blue also? Then run round their piping but they have been doing this for ages and i wouldnt think that they couuld of got it from there. So i have no idea. Can anyone have any suurgestions? Thanks, Simpson123

    Oh ok thanks thats interesting. But how do you teach a spaniel to do this kind of stuff? just take it out with you every time you go out and watch it at a burrow it will probably learn to mark burrows it'self you just have to pick up the signs as differnt dogs do differnt things from picking up a paw to starring at the burrow.It's just a case of knowing your dog Oh ok thanks. i will do that when the little spaniel arrives.     Im getting a 7 week old enlgish springer spaniel this week. I am going to train for shooting but was wondering if i could train an english springer spaniel to ferret with me, like lurchers and stuff? Because i would think they would be too lively? What do you think? Plus any ideas of how to train dogs when ferreting? Thanks very much, Simpson123

    Hi, Well i posted a topic on here about my plastic tubing problem. Now thanks to your help i have completed my ferrets run round my patio. After 2 hard days. 30 foot of tubing and alot of sweat i am done! Here are some pictures of the run and the ferrets in them. Tell me what you think! Thanks. Simpson123 Sorry for all the photos.

Call a local cavity wall installer.The only thing is its pretty dear but maybe if you slip an installer a few quid he will see you alright.Pity i didnt know a lorry driver going down your way id have sent it down Ha ha cheers, thanks for the thought!

    I have had my ferrets in a nice sized hutch and run now for over a year, but i want them to have a bigger extended place. But instead of making a whole new bigger hutch i wanted to purchase some transparent/translucent plastic piping, so i can place this from the ferrets hutch round the patio then back to the hutch. I want it to be see-through because i want other people to see them running through. I need the piping to be around 15-20 meters long. I have been searching everywhere including the hunting life forums and cant find anything. Can anyone help or able to point me in the right directi
