How many are still working pure bred borders? My father always wanted one but only ever had patterdale x border. I was lucky enough to get a pup from some real hard working dogs looking forward to the future with this one

Kind of clutching at straws here but thought I’d try anyways. First off I’m 27 years old and been hunting from I could walk. All my life my father kept Lurchers and terriers and some of the best I’d ever seen and possibly ever will( he also had some tubes as we all have lol) he hasn’t hunted for quite a wile now, all the old fellas from which most dogs were got have also retired or passed. Dogs came from all parts to our yard Scotland England wales and Ireland where we live. Quick shoot around our club, still very mild in my opinion had a few nice flushes with the lab and made for a good dinner

I'm much the same, I absolutely love bushing rabbits especially, just never know when or where they will show

I mainly just do a bit of rough shooting with the lab and I'm happy enough

Never been on a driven shoot before definitely something I have to look into doing

My da was always a fan of them for digging, hope he works out for you?
