Nice setup mate. Guns arnt my cup of tea but you can't deny on the accuracy and ability of the 510 and R10. What I've been using the last 3/4 years. Think it needs a new spring mind. Feels week but in it's hay day was the most accurate untuned Springer ive ever shot. You do get a creaked neck carrying it around mind?

Atleast I finally got 1 haha. Quickly dispatched it and from what I see, it hadnt been too stressed out as the snare was is fairly good Nick, no twisting. All prepared and into the freezer ? -

Cheers for the heads up mate. I was only going to grease the points of contact on the piston where it rubs the inside of the cylinder and the slightest bit of grease on the piston seal and obviously the top hat, spring and spring guide but if you recommend highly against me doing that ill take your word. Should have the piston head, top hat and spring guide tomorrow or Wednesday -

Lever retaining latch came. Believe it's from a mk2 as its metal and narrower than the one on the current rifle but should still work -

The sleeve was to more or less dampen the sound of the spring hitting against the inside of the piston that's all -

I do ? I also like the webley side levers too. There's a bloke who owns a junk shop as we call it in Newcastle with an airsporter mk2 in decent condition in the window. I'm guessing I could get for next to nothing compared to how much they're worth -

Yeh my dad said they were even in the mid 80s. One of his mates managed to get his hands on a hw77 and my dad just couldn't get on with the weight of the thing. His current and only gun, a Theoben fenman is the only break barrel he's ever owned, all the others were airsporters starting with a mk5, an airsporter S and Rb Stutzen which he then traded for a webley raider while he was working in Oxford in the early 2000s. Regrets it massively he says but said out of all them the S was the one to have. Think he also had a few model 50s ? Id say a good history of gun ownership ? -

No that isn’t very far mate. I’ve been looking at them but it only shows the one O ring at the front. Gonna get the piston head off sometime today and see why it’s wobbly for a start. wish me luck lads ? -

Instead of using the steel export piston head, could I just use the lighter, bsa plastic piston head, or do you recommend the steel export one over these? Or what’s your opinion on the alloy piston head, just I don’t really want the power increasing too much by using the steel head? -
