No yapping at all, i expected her too because she yaps at my terriers when out in the day but she seemed to behave differently at night.

She's a Beddy x whippet/grey 20 " tts. I'm going to leave it for a few months now but at least she knows what its all about now, and she enjoyed herself. In fact we both did.

Went out with my 10 month old pup on the lamp the other night. It was the first time for us both, i just went out for a look really but could'nt resist slipping her a couple of times. She missed the first two, they managed to dodge her so i descided to call it a night as i dont want to spoil her. We set off home and i gave it a last shine and got one frozen in the beam, i got as close as i could and let her go. They both dissapeared out of sight and i pressumed it had got away. Then from nowhere the rabbit came steaming up the path straight at me with the dog a few feet behind, i crouched do

I've got my police interview for the SGC and FAC air rifle on tuesday. Is there anything i need to know and what sort of questions will he be asking i would like to be ready for them. Thanks.

I was just wondering if anyone has, or knows of anyone who has had a SGC or FAC refused and what reasons where given for the refusal. Also has anyone appealed and if so what was the outcome. I'm not being nosey but i am interested in knowing the criteia the ploice have to work with.

He owns 5 acres and the dogs have the run of the place, so i think he'd rather get shut of one than cage em.

My mate bought two Patterdale dog pups from the same litter i got my bitch . They are 5 months old now and have started fighting like f**k. We expected this until one had become dominant then we thought it would settle down, but its not. One of the pups always starts it' and its when the other gets any attention, seems to be a jealousy thing. If it does'nt settle down soon he's on about getting rid of one. Any advice welcome.

Nice shooting mate. Had my rabbit in a thai green curry last night, absolutelly lovely, took advice of the chef at Tabley game fair and soaked the rabbit in salt water overnight which took that slight gammy flavour away and it save me skinning and butchering it as soon as i got home. I'm just having a go at tanning the skins, if successful i'm going to make something out of them but i dont know what yet. The wife thinks i've gone mad but i like the thought of using every part of the animal.

I've been on the GMP website and sent the fire arms department an email explaining the situation and i had a chance to view the form. The form states that all criminal convictions must be declared even those resulting in an absolute discharge. Whatever happened to living in a country where we are inocent until proven guilty eh! I think the land i shoot on is firearms approved because i know a lad shoots on there with a rimfire and he aint had his licence that long. I'll give the fire arms officer a call and have the crack. Thanks Sean.

I always eat the rabbits i catch and fancy having a go at making some thing out of the skins, not a bloody clue what yet a pair of gloves or somthing. Is it a complicated process preparing the skins for use. http://www.ferreting.biz/Ferret/Tanning.htm Found this link if anybody is interested.

I'm toying with the idea of applying for a FAC for an air rifle. I've got some decent permission and could get references no problem. However about 9 years ago i was accused of a quite serious violence related crime, which i hasten to add i did'nt do. This was thrown out of court for lack of evidence with no charges, but my sister in law is a copper and apperently it is still logged on the police computer. Do you think i stand a chance or would i be wasting my time.

Spoke to Michael, really nice chap. Ordered the bits off him. He's got a Pump including filter and trap for £99. Thought that was a bargain, he's got a months supply left, then he cant get em anymore.

I charge my rifle using a pump, should i have a moisture trap and a filter fitted in line. How necessary are they.
