  1. the merl is a good chance to be litter pup with one my mate bought. Sadly he got rid of it before it had the chance
  2. youre not wrong there mate i can see it already in him he loves his teeth, tests everything with them, lol. on the other hand though for his age he seems really bright and very responsive. Plenty of patience and reading up as much as i can and hopefully he will turn out ok. My beddy cross is coming up two now, and to be honest, i taught him very little, he done loads himself and i just gave the command when he done it. By far the best dog to train i have owned and seen. I think the most training i have done to him has been in the field, sit, stay, heel, steady, ect. He was a good littl
  3. henson is shite with a shite hair cut, needs a slap that kid, i am sure mrs church will be slapping him for the plight of him I only seen last 20 though? He did have a couple good brakes. I think he was injured during the WC? Cant vouch for that like
  4. looks tidy, best of look. Remember, they can be a bit headstrong, make sure you let him know who is boss all the time, dont give them chance to take the piss or it will take ages to get it out of them
  5. didnt know moose were that big?
  6. Quality, love it. Must give the paints a go one day. I do pencil drawings and really like to see other work in differant styles
  7. lol, well said witton The way i see it, i was flushing it for my catty, when they ask were the catty is i'd say, oops, must of dropped it? theres a one, what can you quarry with? I know you cant shoot a deer with a twelve bore, or at night. But is there a law saying you cant take hare and fox with a catty? or air rifle? day or night?
  8. well, i have three lurchers at the mo, all differant ages and i have had one when i was younger. Two of them have yapped when pups and it stopped by the second season. My youngest still does giv the odd little whine when pushed by a hare, but getting there. I have every bit of confidence in this stopping by next season, he is only gone 18mth. The other dog that did yap is mute now, so all i can say by reading past posts is take advise you feel is sensible and take some with a pinch of salt
  9. one of the best working dogs i have seen was a whippet. It took fox single handed, deer, hare and even retrieved like a spanial when took out with the guns. Seen the dog out on the lamp with a 22 live, we sent it done one hil into a gully and up another hill while giving commands wether to go left or right, and she she retrived it to hand. As i say, one of the best dogs i have seen, had she a long coat i would of had her as she got sold on like most of the dogs the wanker owned.
  10. I really wouldnt worry about it. It probably hasnt seen anything if it is yapping. Soon grow out of it
  11. I use a coleman and there the best lamps made, shame they stopped doing them? My mate uses a lamp with a side light in it and its shite IMO My other mate used one a bit like the coleman and it was canny, i can find out tomo what make it was. Didnt look very strong mind? wouldnt like to drop it
  12. Wallabies V Springboks in the final. I think Pumas will do really well also. All blacks were too complacent yesterday. The Jocks deffense was awsome, but you expect The BEST Team in the world to brake them more then they did. I think All Black cockyness will let them down as last time when Oz stuffed them in the semi's
  13. pup wanted, must be broken coated, no prefference to breed. Northunmberland
  14. I can see a quarters coming, well i hope so? It will a close game if we play that bad
