    Decided to do another couple of hours this evening, cant come now till at least Monday evening, so 1st one ten minutes after I got there, then 2nd an hour Into the dark with the torch, torch isn't very bright tho as soon as they see the red beam their off.

    Will give this a go later, cheers. Took the face off the mag, give the spring a full turn then put the face back on, no different, so did it again same thing, either I've got two dodgy mags, or bsa have done a cheapo job on these .25mags for some reason.

    The mag does rotate all the way so the last 1/2" of the bolt I have to wiggle or push hard to seat it properley, a couple of lads on here said tip the gun downwards when cocking as it helps the pellet, maybe its just me, it works better with the longer pellets like Bisley pest control h&n, jsb, but worse on the smaller pellets, only had the gun a week and the mags are starting to irritate me...

    Can I purchase a .25 single shot magazine for the r-10se, not getting along with these mags at all, I've looked on Internet but no luck... Cheers.

    Well 1st trip out this morning on the new permission, phoned the owner last night and I mentioned squirrels, Maggies, woodies so on, he yes fine but concentrate more on the rabbits, so got there just before light, set up, went for a stroll seen a good number on my travels but way out of airgun range, tried a few stalks (I,ll say no more about those), but I did take note of a few good places to sit n wait for them to show, so might call ack later about 3,settle down in one spot and wait... But I did get this, so wasn't All bad, 20yds....

    Only had the r-10 literally a couple of days, and those shots were taken sitting not on a rest or table, but I'm sure it will or I will improve... Their was some wind and I,d tried 13 different pellet types, so maybe once I find a suitable pellet and ssettle and get use to the gun accuracy will improve...

    Hw100 had it 6 months bought 2nd hand .177. Bsa r10se, few days old, .25 calibre..

    Yes, just rabbits at the moment, their gonna start costing him the way their carrying on, all his saplings and the new fencing their burrowing all around it...

    Well, the new permission is looking good, he took me round on his quad/pickup type machine,he didnt get there till 4.30 so light was fading, he,s put new fencing all round the perimeter a couple of feet off the old perimeter fence and between planted all new saplings and the rabbits are having a field day on the roots, a small wooded area in a dip not very wide but a few hundred yds long it's a steep bank, rabbit hole's and new scrapings everywhere, hoping to get my first trip out Tuesday get there just before light I think.......

    I only mentioned 25yds as a distance really, I,ll take them down the range and see what happens at 25 and go from there..

    Just pulled up there now, I'm not in all camo, but it's all in the boot ☺..

    I used jsb King to sight it in and ran out, I got the samples from pellet perfect to try, I did find the longer pellets fed better than the shorter pellets.
