  1. Bit of advice,... I was out bunny bashing for a couple of hours last night, and I had the above ir unit on top of the photon rt, for some reason the IR unit kept flashing real bright for a split second then went back to normal then kept doing the same thing... Any ideas what's going on?, the battery was the supplied battery with the IR and it was fully charged... Cheers...
  2. Well, had a bit of cloud cover this evening so decided to pop down to the perm for a couple of hours see what was about, last couple of evenings it's been clear with no cloud and no wind so I left it, seen a few about out to furthest I seen was 189yds with the tracer f900 ir on top of the photon, manages these two at 42yds and 35yds, got to the 2nd one and its got a huge lump on it's back leg....
  3. What is the accuracy like? If it's getting good groups then it doesn't really matter, but round about the 11fpe your getting is fine....
  4. Got one ten mins away... Stockport
  5. Will measure up and let you know....
  6. Great Info Phil thankyou, I e been looking at rattonsound around the £250 mark holds 3-4 scoped rifles...
  7. Would it hold three scoped air rifles? Would it be approved if I went down the fac route? and how much?
  8. Nice bit of shooting mate, the perm I have he breeds/rears chickens and geese, not seen a rat anywhere yet....
  9. Any recommendations on a decent 3 air-rifle with scope gun cabinet, preferably with a small separate lockable compartment... Thankyou
  10. Cheers... I've seen the pulsar batteries, I am tempted to get them, but at the moment in getting round about three hours use with a set of four recharheables that's using the onboard IR, screen brightness on 10 and the IR on 3 for shooting, and put it up to 10 for scanning the fields but to tbh even with the IR on 10 it's not that much better than it being on3 or 4,i have two external ir units which are great but it's all Xtra weight and bulk when added..
  11. Fair few woodies there mate, as they are on the ground I assume moving do you go for heart/lung shots?
  12. I took one shot at a guessed distance and missed to I thought sod it...and FAC is a long way off if ever....
  13. Went to the perm for a couple of hours, got there it just started to rain lightly and also some smoke from a fire the owner has had, well the rangefinder doesn't like either the rain or the smoke as everything was 12yds away, so I'm going home gutted.. Anyone else had this problem with their rangefinder (nitesite) or any other rf? ?
  14. Well I sent Sam FROM Nitesite a picture of my nitesite rangefinder and he said the new weaver L- bracket will fit my rf so he,s sending me one out foc... ☺
  15. Hey up, did you have a look at those pictures?
  16. Nice shooting pal, how you liking the hw110 is it 177 or 22?
  17. The scope needs Moving back a touch, but it would mean both mounts being mounted on the rail behind the magazine, so the scope would be front heavy with no support if you know what I mean....
  18. Popped over to the perm last night for a play with the photon, couple of missed opportunity's, but the moon being out didn't help casting shadows everywhere and I was lit up like a beacon, but I did manage this 40yarder which I got on video too haha.. Liking the photon, just need to practice my stealth mode as I'm too noisy and clumsy haha..
  19. I wouldn't even think about taking that shot with any air-rifle
  20. Just a quickie.. When you lot have finished with your photon, I assume you take the battery holder out of the photon incase it gets turned on accidentally and runs flat, do you take the batteries out of the holder and leave them loose or just leave them in the holder, (I'm not sure if they,ll charge down if left in the holder)... Thankyou...
  21. No doubt you will make the right choice mate whichever you go, just enjoy ?... But when you get that sub12 fx impact let me know how it shoots ☺ hehe
  22. Thankyou for that Phil, I was just curious... ?
