That is one of my favourite pictures, it sums up the comp weekend for me, proper belly laughs all bloody weekend, elite level banter around the fire every night, great food, special mention for Kevs chilli and Joes pulled pork and the bbq in general the fishing is as serious or not as you want it to be, amazing hosts, great company old faces and new comers, and chairs so comfy you may nod off! Definitely a highlight of my year, and this year was as good as any! And all in a good cause. Huge thanks to everyone involved and particularly Kev for all your efforts arranging everything

I grabbed 3 packs this morning, no idea if that's enough or not, got plenty of beer to wash it down tho thats the important thing!

Pate made, 1.2kg of the stuff! We’re going to need a lot of crackers!! I only used 1/4 of the bottle of Madeira so drinking the rest now really looking forward to the weekend it’s going to be a cracker I’ve got this hefty hunting knife for the auction, remember, you can never have too many knives!

Cracking weekend again, as I left for Hampshire and work at 5-30 this morning, the hardcore were still at it around the fire, good effort lads and lasses ? As always a great time was had by all, huge thanks to Kev and everyone else who does so much to make it the success it is. Looking forward to next year ?

Cracking weekend again, huge thanks to Kev and the guys from luccombes for all their hard work, Joe for the burritos, Ken for the bbq and everyone else who all contributed food, beer and prizes? The kids had a great time, we all enjoyed the fishing and the Johnny show afterwards? We found a fantastic clay shooting ground just down the road if anyone fancies a go next year.
