  1. Hi everyone, thank you all for your advice, will definitely take it all on board, Its a pain replying because all my posts have to be approved before posting up. Sounds like either a beddy grey or beddy whippet would be best for me, Aussie Whip I will defo work it, like I said will be nothing major just on the weekends and some evenings, I have bought a book called understanding the working lurcher by Jackie Drakeford that I am currently reading. I'm not going to be one of these lazy irresponsible owners that's for sure. Thanks again for all your replies guys
  2. Hi PJCaswell, thankyou for your reply. I now have plenty of time to spare time for a dog, used to spend most of my spare time walking/ seeing friends and family members dogs and it is a decision I have thought about for quite some time but held off because I didn't feel like I could give one the time it needs in the past. I now have a 2 bedroom medium size house with quite a big back garden and lots of pass time on my hands. I think I am leaning towards a whippet or grey cross, these are what I had in mind but thought I would ask you people on here because you have more knowledge and experien
  3. Thanks low plains drifter, I will have a good read up and look into these suggestions
  4. Hi guys, I'm thinking of getting a lurcher as a family pet and to do some rabbiting (nothing major), family members have had them before and I know they have great temperments around the house and great workers at the same time. Just wondering what cross people would recommend would be best for me? Thanks, M-Dog
