Feelings mutual Phil thanks for your great advice much appreciated, as you can see Graham is struggling with his breathing but yes it would be great to get together for some clays and we will certainly keep in touch. Cheers Pete.

Cheers Pete.

Hi Billy, I've just got a new permission with a big rabbit problem and my freezer is full, so was contemplating trying to sell some. Can I ask if you are selling your rabbits, if so how much are they fetching at the moment and do you sell to game farmers or butchers. Cheers Pete.

Hi Phil I've got a couple of farms but the range is in the back garden shooting off the kitchen island out the patio doors 25yds, and to get 35 yards it's sat near the front door through the house and to the back garden. Obviously when I'm on my own in the house! I will pop down to Crawford's with it sometime when you are going to be there if you like, let me know.

Hi Phil, I replied but it seems not to have posted, thanks for the offer, your welcome to try out my rifle any time your free just let me know. I've just cleaned it again and got a bit more brown residue out so will see how it performs now. To be fair I was quite happy till the last 2 groups of exacts, they weren't the worse when I tried 7 different pellets through it( 6 if you count the 2 mags the same) but the Weihrach mags trounced all but the Falcon accupells, which I'm pleased about as the extra weight and flattish trajectory should prove well, need a lot more practise though. I don't kn

So is that why you were buying another rifle, is the 110 history?
-
ps what does the reg was paggered mean? sounds worrying..........

Thanks Si that's interesting, when I was cleaning it I did seem to get some brown residue on the patches and wondered what it was it never came clean after a dozen or so pull throughs! Unfortunately I bought it at a gun show but will give it another good clean to see if that improves things. Cheers Pete.

Have you cleaned the Barrel with a pull through yet ? Hi villaman yes cleaned with a pull through recently and only had 30 or so pellets through it since!
-
Just goes to show all barrels are different and like different pellets! I thought some of the pellets looked similar though! Thanks CC

Nice shooting, a good mixed bag there!

Hi Mark, the barrel was clean and the Magnums were fired after the exacts amazingly! I will Try some of the AAs but must admit I'm very impressed with the Magnums. It's not a target scope I've put on it just a 3-9 mtc genesis with no parallax adjustment so not very clear under 50 yards, I will upgrade when funds allow, I'm after a .204 next though so may be a while!

Hi Rez, I'm in Grimsby, I got the rifle from the shooting show at Harrogate from Ronnie Sunshine. Yes not sure why the exacts sprayed like that, especially that 2nd group they performed slightly better previously but nowhere near tight enough and kept throwing loose shots. The magnums are by far the best, Falcon Accupels and Bisley Magnums also grouped well. I've missed 2 magpies with the FTs that should have been dead certs which is annoying as the buggers are very weary now!

Hi guys thought I would share this with you. I've resently bought a new Weihrauch HW110 and whilst trying a range of different pellets to see which suited the barrel I was amazed at the difference, especially between these 2 Weihrauch own brands! I was given the FT exacts with the gun which is why I have a full tin and I've just bought the Magnums as they performed the best of the 7 I tried. These groups were both shot off a bench rest at 25yards and as you can see I adjusted the scope 2 clicks left for the 2nd group with the Magnums. The 2 "flyers" were when I didn't sync my heartbeat! I did

Hi there, I've been shooting and hunting off and on for nearly 40 years and am now getting my 10 year old son interested. Mostly vermin shooting these days with air rifle, rimfire and 12 bore. I've just acquired a lovely New permission and went out tonight with the .22 rimfire and shot 15 rabbits. Beautiful night and had the pleasure of watching 3 barn owls hunting all round the farm yard. Life is sweet! I hope to learn a bit from this website and still find the internet an amazing thing. Cheers Pete.
