  1. royston, you'll like these raccoons, hope to see you soon.
  2. They range 10-20 pounds average depending on area, food supply etc. and tend to get bigger the farther north you go. Used to see 18-24 pounds average where I used to dig. Good animals to dig to, being vocal and formidable. A good sporting animal for earthwork and widely regarded as pests to agriculture, poultry etc.
  3. He's Kye's dog so I'll let him fill in any details on the dog, but here's a photo.....

Love my Yamaha Grizzly. I'd go fuel injected whatever you decide on if you can.
  5. That one on the left looks old Korbelbach/Barenfang blood. Nice looking dogs.
  6. First class, choosing where to hit them at up to 70 yards. Nicest I've shot by far.
  7. put the conector from phones to jack and there ll be no beeping  Tried that many times with different phones and makes no difference. Thanks for the suggestion though..
  8. Bought my Pieps separate from the collars when B&F first started selling them. It works perfect. They've apparently since changed the policy which I can understand from a biz standpoint. I don't know about any software mods to the Pieps and when I e-mailed and asked, I couldn't get a straight answer so I bet the answer is that nothing special was done to their receivers. As far as depth and accuracy, it's always been dead on from 1 foot to the deepest at 7 foot with the collar to date. I'd be interested to know more about the new locator though and whether it operates quietly witho
  9. I like JSB's through my gun. Do you guys get JSB's in England?

A miserable illness from what I understand, my best for a speedy recovery.
  11. The Condor isn't a bad gun, but the FX Cyclone is a top notch PCP. I've got one and it is excellent. I use a pump although if you do a lot of shooting I'd get a carbon fiber tank instead of scuba. The can hold more psi and you get many more fills. Ft/lbs versus fps is power vs. speed. Too many fps and the pellet will tumble resulting in innacuracy. Should stay under the speed of sound (about 1100 fps I believe). Check out the below and ask some questions about guns in the US. http://www.straightshooters.com/ http://www.airgunsofarizona.com/ http://www.network54.com/F
  12. So the nickname fits then!!
  13. Royston, you didn't have to blow dry him out before you took the picture, I'm he'd of looked fine without it Can't wait to dig to him
  14. Don't get fully settled in Kye, there's work to be done elsewhere........
  15. Killed dozens of them. Gotta wear knee high boots because they'll charge if you don't get a good kill shot.......
  16. I've only been out lamping with you once and I was scared to death and it wasn't because of the dark!!! lol
  17. Nice looking pups Taffy, I know if one ends up this side, he'll see a fair bit!!
  18. I hope to see that pup this fall Wool Best of luck with him...
  19. High aggression and high pain thresholds.....
  20. Foxdropper, Send me a pm and let me know where you're going in the states and I'll see if the place I got mine from has a retail outlet there as well. The Pieps has three antennas which triangulates to find the signal faster than a bi-antenna system BTW. Got mine from the states and the collars from B&F and works no problems whatsoever.
  21. Kye's Staghounds....... Blister... Tor...
