  3. If I was looking for a collie x I would go to Hancock. You get to see both parents and you know exactly what's in them, I know some folk slag him but I know lads who have worked them and done well, you only get out what you put in and imo some folk jack on there dogs well to early these days. A mates beardy x greyhound didn't catch until she was over 14 months and to some she would have been a jacker but last season she took plenty. Not my kind of x but Hancock for first x.

  17. Welcome mate, pup looks a good sort, personally I never get a juckel for one job, if parents are good grafters then hopefully your pup will turn out OK, let it be a pup for now and put the training in and enjoy each other's company, me I would work it on rats, ferreting, bushing and bolting Charlie as that's what I need a all rounder, I'm sure you will have lots of fun what ever you choose to do. Atvb.

  19. I stayed away from some of the land I have permission to ferret on as numbers were so low, took a walk across farm yesterday and plenty of bunnys running about but no doubt numbers will drop once disease kicks in again, also came across a young badger cub dead on field that had been torn to bits, I had a chat with farmer and he said he'd found a adult badger also dead and torn apart. He's not happy and who ever done this is given good honest field men, women a bad name. The set is on a footpath and he can not stop folk walking dogs on it. I know what I would like to do to who ever had a hand i

  23. Hi Cas is it a first x. I've seen several litters but money they asking they can keep them. Wouldn't pay 350 for any pup no matter what. Still some good field men lasses out there though who breed to keep line going and let pups go to working homes. Most will ask for anufe to cover food, jabs, chip but you know the money ones when asking for the kind of cash you could pay your mortgage payment lol. Hope all goes well with your new pup. AtbA
