  1. Great to see youngsters out. My mate has a 3seater van for lamping and my eldest lad who's 18 has taken mine haaa. Getting old.
  2. Been a slow start for us. Only lifting a couple really. And hard hunting, no scent on some days. Can't wait for cold to come.
  3. Couple of spots we done Sunday only couple of us out. Lifted 2 good foxes. Had some real good hunts.
  4. Yea be ideal for that job. Will even work with other bushing dogs. Just not with a lot of noise etc.
  5. My mate is parting with this young bitch. Reason for sale is. If you take her out and let her hunt rabbits etc with maybe just a couple of dogs she is fine. She will scream on rabbits and is very biddable. Once she goes with the full pack and the beaters are making noise in woods etc. She gets very nervous and stands close by.the lad has tried n tried and she does clamps up when theres to much noise. I've had her up with me hunting rabbits and fox with just Brian and my lurchers. She was spot on. But as stated with the full gang she's just to nervous. She is quiet in kennel. Good grubber. 100%
  6. Took my eldest lad out for a couple of hours. Let him take full control. He done very well.plus bitch ran very well considering the weather. Plenty on the spot for another couple of outings.
  7. Haaa local pack to us wouldn't part with dog shite. They already call us a pirate pack.. ?
  8. Mate I am out all the time. The bitch has failed a few times and been corrected. It's very sly and will do it out of ear shot type of thing. I will be trying another avenue with her solo. And see how she gets on. But thanks for input.
  9. Hi lads we are looking for either a Beagle bitch or dog. Prefer an adult and working. Big ask I know. But you never know until you ask. Must be 100% broke to deer. We have had a young bitch fail us today, hunted a roe deer for a long while and that is a no go for me. Any help would be really appraitided

    Day Out

Had a day out with a good mate of ours who's a Shepherd on a certain farm. He invited us up as he is seeing foxes regular. After doing a few spots and having some good hunting a lad cleanly shot a fox that broke across a field. Only couple of pics as my phone died.
  11. Shame really as they were belting little dogs
  12. I'm virtually 100% that the mother to the sealyham russells was a morris Richardson breed. She was a sealyham x Russell first cross. And my mate put a sealyham x over her. Real good little dogs. Don't see many of them left now. If any. My pure sealyham was off a butcher from Newcastle end. Can't remember his name. Long time ago.
  13. Full sealyham on right. Real tough dog.. Coat was like wire wool.
  14. Hi mate. Yea had sum good days with them. I actually had 3. 2 sealyham russells and 1pure sealyham. Had some great days out and they were great little bushing dogs. The little bitch wouldn't go to ground on fox. But the other 2 dogs would. Little Cross bred dog would steady bay and 99%of the time would bolt fox. The full sealyham would virtually kill every fox it came within diatance to. Very strong bite on him. And mute.
  15. Few pics of my sealyham russells. Bout 1998 good honest little dogs.
  16. Sealyham russells I had in my younger days.
  17. Daughters bushing dog. 6inch jackawowa
  18. . Some cracking dogs there pal,do you have any lurchers or do you flush to a gun. Both mate
  19. Well at least that's all cleared up.
