Yeah your probably right but was easier sell to the wife for the gamo. Depending on how much I get into it and use it in a year or so i may get the hw100 but i didnt tell her that part ?

So I was going to buy my pals hw100 but decided against it as for a couple hundred more I could have it new. I've ordered myself a gamo phox kit as it comes with everything to get started. Looked at the reviews and stuff and seems a very good buy for the price and just to get started with air rifles

I live on dartmoor and growing up would always hear story's of the beast of bodmin moor and that was ment to be a black big cat some swear to have seen it. My friends mum swears blind she saw a big cat near her house a few years back shes not a silly person or someone who talks nonsense I'm like 85%behind her but I still have that doubt. Within a couple miles of her house I was working at a couples house who also swear blind they have seen a big cat around that area numerous times ? never say never but unless I see one myself I wont diss believe nor believe I'll sit on the fence

I'm on the fence with big cats being about I dont see how they could move about without being seen alot but at the same it could be done as they can be stealthy to believe 100% I'd have to see with my own eyes one in the wild

Alright lads I'm normally on the lurcher section on this site but looking into air rifles for abit of rat shooting and maybe some squirrel aswell. A mate of mine is selling his hw 100 for £750 it's in very good condition and been serviced it will come with bag, pellets, scope, 4mags and a few other bits it's a 1.77 all I'd have to get is a pump or bottle. I'm not that clued up on air rifles but looking at them online there all around the 900 - 950 mark so I think I'm getting a decent deal here but I dont really know what do you think?

The hunting abilities I could get over but I dont expect to much from my dogs I'm of the mind they will do what they will do and that's fine by me I enjoy just being out with the dogs mooching about and abit of lamping and what pops up pops up. I didnt realise about the mental issues with the dog that is a worrie with rehoming I agree there but personally I'd keep the dog rather then pts but that's just me I do understand the point of culling but I just couldn't to a healthy dog that was alright with me

Yeah and to be honest I didnt quite think about it before I put it out there and no I dont expect a answer on a open forum or otherwise but then we got Into a schoolyard bicker which was fun so couldn't back down then could I for christ sake!!! I will say this though not my business but I've put my view on it you've put yours but when all said and done it ain't our dog to do f**k all with so really neither of our opinions matter at all. Was just a honest question. I've openly said I wouldn't do it to a healthy dog but you was very adamant that it should be done to the bitch so was a genuine question which you got defensive about being all 007 secretive about.
