lets see some dogs pulling in to fitness

I do believe this to be a highland bull x horse -
See now I went beating there a few times lots avoided me probably the way I look and don't fit don't bother me that much but would rather not spend my time round a load of stuck up asses. If the head keeper fecked off I'd be alright then on some of there tenent farms as I gifted a Springer to one of the keepers so just need him to get head keepers role then I'd be on

There's a grate big shooting estate near me and it's seeming they own most of the land where I live as every farm I'm asking in that's really local to me they all say the same thing it's owned by maristow need to ask the keepers. I would ask the keepers but I know the head keeper there hates lurchers!! Right pain in the ass got to drive to each spot I do have now and none of them offer a good full night of lamping each one you can do in about 30 mins up to an hour then it's back in the car another drive to another spot!! Lost some good land because of these 4x4 hunters trashing places and farm

Jailed, and no dogs for ten years
Saltmoon replied to Yn Manninagh's topic in Earthdogs & Working Terriers
When I had my case they tried saying lurchers fighting with wild animals but as the judge stated for it to be a "fight" this means that 2 animals have been placed together in which a way they can not escape then that consists of a fight. -

Teach it how to brake into your kitchen if it's not a natural thief once it's mastered that you'll come home to.a dog fat as a house well that's what happens to anyway!!! But serious now some dogs are just very light and if you want some more meat on them bones do as has been said feed fatty meats. Is it just kibble that it's on?? Or raw?
-
Got mine doing it the house with tennis balls first then it's a game for them. Go out in to the open I normally let them have a mooch about first new smells and all that then tennis ball comes out but after they have that down I go out with lamp and dummy and get them doing the job on that it's all a grate game for the dog I try and make it as fun for the dog as I can so it's not like boring training. That's the just of how I done it with my dog. (Along with where the fcuk is he off to now with that ball)

Went out for a few hours last night after deciding yesterday morning when the weather was cloudy drizzle and windy ........ not the case last night though clear sky's and still but went anyway. Had a few runs but mostly hedge huggers so went somewhere else saw about 6 bunnys right down the other end of the field slipped the dog and he somehow managed to cover alot of ground keep one out the hedge ran it up and down turned it about 6 times and got his first catch of the season. So only the one rabbit but still happy with how he was running. Hopefully be better lamping weather next time
-
They do trials ones aswell there mental things do everything a normal bike dose
-
No it's really not but stops them losing everything big difference in fit and running fit for hard runs one after another
-
Keep mine ticking over through the summer long walks with free running along the river so he can Go in when he wants but I'll I've started taking him out running next to the bike now roughly 5miles few times a week and chuck a tennis ball other days for him seems to work for him but I'm not out every night normally 2/3 times a week in season depending on work but first couple of weeks just let him have a few good runs see how he's looking and up it from there on
