When u brought my pup on I started abit early September sort of time but I'd also bought a rabbit skin dummy and been chucking that about and also took the dummy out with the lamp and chucked it as because they have good recall with game in its mouth it may go out the window on its first catch with the lamp. I did as much as I could with him while he was a pup to give myself and him the best chance of catching the more effort you put in the more you get back best of luck with the dog ??

That still going must be getting on now! I've not really done much this season lamping wise done alot of mooching the dog I got gets shoulder problems when hes ran hard but think I'm sorted with another one as long as it all goes to plan so that will be good.

Anyway I go back to what I originally said........ have you spoken to the vet and see if they wouldn't mind coming outside to check the dog so that he can still see you and you can be 2m away from the vet with mask on and all that explain the dogs problem about being taken in without you and see if they will accommodate you if not try a different vet. Your paying them so they can do a little thing like coming outside to see your dog. Good luck with it all

Dose he feck he loves the vets to him vets means treats so he loves the place ?. If mine was funny I'd ask them to work with me while we cant go in like coming outside and taking a look

Why wont he go in without you? Is it a case of he may bite the vet? Can they not sell you the solution they will use on him and do it yourself? Or can they not just do it outside?

I'm basically done I may get a trip out one evening this week but that's about It i reckon dogs shoulder still playing up so cant do a massive amount with with lamping anymore but still grate for mooching about with

Time also I have some rabbit local to me that if your there before 0200 then you ain't seeing nothing but hedge huggers after that time you'll see 6 or more out in the open or like poxon said educated rabbits that see a lamp and know the score so shoot off sharpish

The only option I can see for you is moving house to another area with rabbits, seems like the only solution to me I'm afraid

I'll always pay out for decent work boots I'm on my feet all day scaffolding I go through a pair in about 7 months and must admit I always wondered about saftey trainers more so in the summer months as boots can get bloody hot

Haha heat seeking missile that's a grate way to explaine bull xs ? I'm a sucker for a bull x i had one before could have been a grate dog but didnt get him until he was 18 months and he was a daft psychopath with multiple personalities ? southhams hunter new the thing he hated the dog ??
